Professional service, great communication and advice
Saw BCS working at a neighbours house and reached out for a quote. Barry arrived on time and walked through our requirements for front and rear garden. Provided a written quote at the end with detailed overview of works required. I called back a few days later to confirm and we booked in a date to complete the work. The team arrived on time and started prepping the area and bringing in their tools. Appeared to have all the right dsfety equipment and talked through the works again before starting. They cleared everything away as they went and did a final clear up at the end. Everything was shredded and taken away. Really pleased with everything and will seek to use them again. The quote was a little higher than others but worth the investment based on other local projects I'd seen and reviews etc.

Way beyond expectations
It was the first time I have used a tree company and I went out of my way to make sure BCS were a legitimate business, with a traceable address. From the written quote, (not requiring a deposit) to the final leaf being swept away these guys were great. The main task was reducing a massive and unstable willow tree by some 50%, removing a large dead cherry tree, reducing a big oak tree next to a garden shed and pollarding a box tree very near the house. The moved the garden ornaments to a safe place and put them back, protected the lawn with large sheets of wood and to be honest when they finished the whole garden looked better than when they started All the waste had to be carried along a walkway by hand to the front of the house. All this was achieved in one and a half days (short days as it was December). I found them helpful and very amiable. If anyone asked me about a tree services I'd tell them they would be stupid not to use Barry and his company.

Great work and left everything clean and tidy
This is the second time we have used BCS Tree Services, and we have been delighted with their work on both occasions. We received a timely response to our initial enquiry, with a follow up visit to understand our requirement, provide a quote, and agree a date for the work. On the day, the team arrived at the scheduled time, completed the work (cutting down a dead tree and supplying and planting ten new ones), removed all the debris and left the area very clean and tidy. Great service from start to finish and we have no reservations in recommending them.

Reducing the height of Fur trees and trimming sides
Barry had arranged to arrive at 7.30am and arrived on time to start at 8 o’clock I had discussed the job with other tree surgeons who all said how difficult a job it would be as the trees had become very wide over some 60 years. After agreeing the height we wanted then Barry’s colleague was soon getting on with the job in hand. After trimming the sides and ends the height was soon brought down to the agreed level. All the cuttings were quickly being taken to the chipper and reduced into the back of the truck and after a couple of hours the truck was almost full. I can only say that the job was completed in a totally professional manner. The site was left clear and tidy. Barry’s colleague who was doing the cutting finally went round making sure every bit was clipped to his satisfaction. Barry himself would not leave the site until every scrap was picked up. I was very pleased with the price which was as per the quote. I will certainly recommend Barry and his team to friends and family.

I've used Barry and his team 3 times over the last 4 years and they always do a fantastic job. Everything done as asked, and to a high standard, even making suggestions for tidying up parts of the garden I have missed. They work for 4 hours on my garden and are professional, courteous, reliable and very tidy. Even bringing their own flasks of tea / coffee which in my experience is always a very good sign of complete focus on getting the job done! I will continue to use BCS tree services in the future, such professional and reliable traders are a God send.

Tree Felled

Disappointing
Having received an excellent pre-lockdown job, I had no hesitation in accepting a quote for further tree work, particularly as it was 50% of the other quote I obtained. The work was assiduous and mostly good but some work was uncompleted without explanation. Mr. Stanton seemed to be angry about something and I later found 1 of my hanging baskets, which I had left on the patio table to be out of the way, upside down on the ground on the other side of the patio and a 25kg bag of mortar (mine) had been put in a plant container, breaking it into pieces. This breakage was not volunteered and when I pointed it out there was no apology or explanation, just a "take it off the bill". If Mr. Stanton had underestimated the work that is clearly not my fault. Had he had said there was more than he anticipated I would have been happy to renegotiate the price.

B.C.S. Tree Services are 6 STAR
Barry Stanton's team did a job in my garden yesterday. I was given a price for the job which I considered to be very reasonable, but what the team actually did for the money was great value. They were in and done within a two-hour slot, all rubbish removed, job fully completed to a very high standard. Definitely give them six stars and would recommend without hesitation.

Excellent service and workmanship
We rang the company after seeing their lorry one day, the prompt service from the quote to setting a date was very quick. Barry and his team arrived promptly and started work. The professionalism of the workers and finished product was outstanding and just as we wanted. Reasonably priced for the amount of time they were here and the weather conditions. First class Service
We have a Quercus Oak in our rear garden that we get reduced every 3 years. BCS provided a quote which was very competitive. On the day they arrived earlier than expected and began preparing the area. The guys were very polite, respectful and friendly. Their work was very professional and exactly what we wanted. The job was completed with the minimum of fuss and our garden was left very clean. Stray branches were collected from neighbouring properties. Cannot fault this business and will be filing their business card for future use and recommendation. First class service all round.

Professional service at a competitive price
BCS felled an 80ft swamp cypress tree in our garden. They arrived on time and worked in a professional manner throughout the day. They even carved an armchair from part of the trunk! The remaining trunk was sliced into manageable pieces and moved to a storage area of our choice in the garden at our request. All smaller branches were removed from site. The area was left clear and tidy. We would have no hesitation to recommend BCS.

Efficient and professional
Arrived on time. Carried out the work efficiently and left the garden clean and tidy. Would gave no hesitation in recommending them.
Brilliant job
My neighbour had a very large poplar, 60ft plus and willow tree overhanging our very small gardens, and very close to our properties. I offered to pay to have fern removed. The possibility for property damage was very high, but BCS did a fantastic job. Quick and efficient, made it look easy. The clean up job afterwards was immaculate, and very reasonable rates too. Absolutely delighted and impressed!
