"This is an interim report since the project - held up by planning delays in the spring and summer - is not yet complete. Because of the late start, Clive's men have had to contend with often atrocious conditions i.e. bitter cold and frequent rain. The important thing is that the roof is on, the doors and windows are in, and the extension is weather-proof. Internal fitting-out can now proceed at a more leisurely pace. I know Clive and his sub-contractors will deal with any teething problems that arise. I take my hat off to Tom and Curt, who have done the bulk of this very heavy physical work."
