The locking mechanism in our patio door seized and wouldn't lock. We were on our way out for the day when it happened so it looked like we wouldn't be able to leave the house. We found BM securities number on a leaflet. They arrived within an hour of us calling. They we very friendly and quickly found that the locking mechanism inside the locking strip had disintegrated. They couldn't get the key barrel out either so had to snap it to remove all the parts. They went and got the new parts and were back within a couple of hours. They fitted the new parts and adjusted the doors (They had become misaligned over time and probably contributed to the lock breaking) all in around 10 mins. The door now fits and locks perfectly. On the way out he kindly adjust my front door as well as this was also catching a bit.

Booked an appointment at a convenient time and they called when on their way. Dismantled the various parts and explained the problem and what needed replacing. Ordered the relevant part and returned 3 days later to complete the job. Also solved a previous problem with the door lock! The engineer was efficient, polite and friendly and I couldn't have had a better service.
