I was very impressed by Ben’s craftsmanship—he is particularly skilled with timber walls, tiling, silicone work, and fitting furniture. The sequence of work was logical and well-planned. Ben is considerate, communicates effectively, and plans ahead rather than making changes without our agreement. His extensive experience clearly shows in the trustworthy, high-quality finish of the work.”

Hired Ben to build an extension. Disappointing experience especially in the final 4-5 weeks, work not completed by agreed dates and not to a standard. The foundation was left uneven, causing extensive cracks in the screed; extra self-levelling reduced ceiling height and leaving concerns about stability of the floor and built-in UFH. Electrical work was substandard, with missing certificates and no power by deadline. Lots of excuses, repeated promises, delays and missed final BC inspection. Damage to a neighbour’s fence never repaired. Had to hire new trades to finish and certify the work.
