We needed to have some new sockets installed so when Dave came to our property he discovered we had no earth cables connected to our lighting circuit or gas/water pipes. He did a great job installing the sockets so we asked him for a quote to re-wire the whole house and install a new board. Dave and his team did a great job over 5 days and completely re wired the lighting circuits, did a partial re-wire in the extension and full re-wire in the rest of the house overcoming many problems. Both Dave and his team are very helpful, professional and friendly - advising on any issues. Highly recommended.

House was always left tidy before they left for the day. Work was done to an excellent level of craftsmanship and David always checked with me on pricing when I asked for changes. I need more renovation work done next year and will be delighted to have Brookwood Design and Build back to do the work.

I have just had the pleasure of having a new kitchen fitted by David and his team. I cannot speak highly enough of them on every level. Apart from their expertise they are a thoroughly nice group of people who made the whole experience easy.

Dave was exceptional in giving us ideas and a perfectionist along the way. He was always patient in answering our endless questions and as clean and tidy as possible. Should any minor query arise, even over weekends and weekends, Dave would respond immediately. He has an excellent team and so easy to have around your home. We would have no hesitation in recommending Brookwood Design and Build, in fact we miss having them around.

We wanted to employ a professional who would look after every aspect of our project, As well as demonstrating his enthusiasm for our ideas, David Siveter gave us confidence that he would take charge of organising all trades and services required. He was closely involved with all aspects of the renovation and construction processes. He gave us daily updates and advised us, suggesting solutions to any problems that occurred along the way. David wanted us to let him know if we found any ‘snags’ after the work was finished and not to hesitate to contact him. He has been true to his word.

We didn’t have any recommendation for builders until we met David We had had several builders who came out and were only interested in doing an extension He sat and listened to us before coming up with plans to utilise our current floor space We set our budget and he came up with some great ideas within budget We had a total house renovation and our renovation was completed within time and budget. Our house has gone from a 1970’s house to a modern home we are proud of Nothing was too much trouble and we will absolutely use him again for our next lot of work Happy to publish photos

David and his team worked on our project for several weeks during the summer of 2019. The project involved removing the old kitchen and non-load bearing wall to open up the kitchen and dining area and then fit the new kitchen. Additionally, we wanted to change the access to the garage so needed to block up one doorway and knock through a new door from the hall, change the location of the boiler, replace the boiler and hot water tank and install ‘pocket doors’ between the lounge and dining area. We are really pleased with the finished job despite the snagging taking longer than expected.

Dave is a diamond. This was a big project, with many requested changes throughout the entirety of the house (see description above). Not only was Dave adaptable, regularly suggesting ways to not only keep costs down but make best use of the money available. He kept me informed throughout of any cost increases and was always very approachable. Whilst this project took longer than originally envisaged, this is because we kept the cost down. What was very impressive was that the quality never dropped. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Dave again.

David project managed my conversion and performed many of the actual works himself and dealt with all the subcontractors and suppliers. This entailed groundworks, foundation laying, bricking, plastering, roofing and electics. All the work was done to a very high standard and any snags were dealt with. The quote provided was accurate. There were some other costs due to us wishing to upgrade the specification and we happily bore these costs. We paid in installments as phases were completed and so never worried we would lose money or the job would not be completed. We will be using him...

Excellent quality work, as always. Dave did my kitchen and downstairs WC last year, so was a natural choice for the more "artistic" job of remodelling my fireplace. Very pleased with the final result.
