Very pleased with the work carried out. The team completed full damp proofing and tanking in the basement along with general plastering throughout. They also handled the electrical side, rewiring sockets and carrying out testing, as well as plumbing works that were all part of a big job. Everything was done professionally, on time, and to a high standard. The results have completely transformed the space – I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend
The upstairs flat had a leak which caused damp on our walls. Once the leak was fixed, BuildShield came in and sorted out the damp. They repaired and painted the area back to a really good standard. Great job and very professional service.
We had BuildShield carry out full damp proofing works throughout the downstairs area of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team showed great attendance, professionalism, and a strong work rate — everything was completed on time and to a very high standard. Not only was the damp issue fully resolved, but they also checked and serviced our boiler, issuing a valid Gas Safety Certificate, which gave us complete peace of mind. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail were excellent. The downstairs had really bad damp, and the team came in and repaired everything to a very high standard. The work was done professionally, the results are excellent, and the price was very fair. Really happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

Had some timber rot under the stairs and BuildShield replaced the damaged wood. Great service – they turned up on time, did the job properly, and left everything tidy. Really pleased with the work and how solid everything feels now.
Really happy with the job and the outcome, he was very good and very polite and explained everything that he was doing, he left with the job well cleaned I’m very happy and would definitely recommend him to a friend.
We had a damp problem under the stairs and the team from BuildShield came out quickly. They turned up when they said they would, found the cause straight away and sorted it without any fuss. The work was neat, done on time and everything was left clean and tidy. Really happy with the result – no more damp and great service all round.
We found out a leaking drain was causing damp on the wall and even affecting the room upstairs. Once the drain was fixed, BuildShield came in and repaired the damp issue. The work was done properly, everything dried out well, and the finish looks great. Really good service from start to finish.
