Highlights
“Couldn't recommend Buildtonic highly enough - after finding some damp in our victorian house, I did a lot of research on local trades specialising in working with old houses and came across Liam. He patiently explained that this was likely caused by old pointing failing plus previous repairs using the wrong materials, and how things would traditionally have been done to ensure the house can breathe. Liam's team have just finished the work and we couldn't be happier, the house looks so much smarter with traditional lime mortar and most importantly can now start drying out!”
“I recently had some decorating done by Buildtonic. They did a terrific job. As soon as the work was finished I put my house on the market; and the first people to view my house loved it so much that they offered me the asking price.”
“Buildtonic carried out external repairs to our 200 year old grade 2 listed meeting house. It included repointing and replacing spalled brickwork, renovating slate roofs, and external decorations. All the work was carried out to a high standard with regard to the building's status and history, for example by using lime mortar. A large sash window had rotted and Buildtonic skilfully repaired it before repainting it all the window frames. Internal doors that were sticking were rehung and now work perfectly. The job was completed on schedule. We recommend Buildtonic and would employ them again.”
