Lean To and Log Store
Mickie rebuilt our lean to and constructed a log store for us . Prior to commencing the work he discussed our requirements with us and gave us good advice to create the best results , we were kept fully informed of progress at all stages. Costs were within our budget and his quote. He is thoroughly approachable, professional and friendly . We highly recommend him and will be using his services again.

Professional work to a high standard
Based on previous experience with Byfield Interiors, I asked Mickie to undertake further home improvements, including renovating my bathroom, painting the upstairs rooms, replacing internal doors, and taking care of several other odd jobs. I am very satisfied with the quality of his work and the professionalism. I am particularly pleased with the transformation of the bathroom which involved replacing the full bathroom suite, raising the previously-sunken bath, re-tiling the entire room, and installing a thermostatic bar mixer shower with rainhead. The fixtures were installed with precision, the tiling is neat, and the overall finish is of a high standard. Mickie also replaced several internal doors and painted the bedrooms, and I am very happy with the outcome. In addition to these larger projects, Mickie undertook several other odd jobs around the house with the same level of care and expertise. No task was too small and he approached each one with the same level of diligence and professionalism. Throughout the entire process, Mickie was punctual, courteous, and respectful of my home. He communicated clearly and was always willing to answer any questions. I would highly recommend Mickie to anyone in need of a skilled and reliable tradesman.

A great job by a very pleasant man
Mickie has done a complete restoration of my new (old) house. He has been totally reliable in time keeping, unfailingly good natured (even with another somewhat touchy workman) and has finished everything to a high standard. When necessary he has found other workers to help him. Also when necessary he has asked me before making any changes and given sound advice on any improvements. He picked up things that I had not noticed which needed looking at and has not used them as an excuse to inflate the price. He has helped me negotiate my way through a very stressful time with unfailing good humour. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent - first class work with first class service
I initially asked Mickie to help with hanging some new doors and undertake other interior jobs for my home improvement project at a new house. He did an excellent job, completing the work to a high standard and efficiently. His estimates were accurate and Mickie provided good advice to help me in managing supplies for the work being undertaken. Given the quality of his work, I then asked Mickie to help with a house that I was getting ready to let - Mickie painted the house throughout, laid new wood flooring in the entrance and lounge and helped with various other jobs to make it attractive for the rental market. Again, Mickie provided creative and sound advice to help me make decisions for cost-effective changes to the property. Mickie is reliable and trustworthy and he works independently to provide a great quality finish for all his work. Mickie is always polite and courteous and will go out of his way to help, undertaking several smaller jobs that were beyond the original work I had requested. I can't recommend Mickie highly enough and only wish I had discovered him before I started my home improvement project as I would have relied on him to undertake the full project. Going forward, I will always call Mickie first for any future maintenance/home improvement work.

The absolute best!
Mickie is just the most amazing find ever. He painted our entire house when we moved and then spent months working on our new house. As well as being a lovely person who you can totally trust, the quality of his work is just outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. Just as examples, he painted everywhere, exposed beams, designed our kitchen, hand-painted the cupboards, put down flooring, designed and built a shower, wallpapered, tiled, sorted out skirting boards, plumbed in a bath, built exposed shelving- it was a complete makeover and he did absolutely everything bar the electrics (and even then he managed what was done). He even gravelled the driveway and has built us bin stores, a bike shed etc. Also brilliant to run ideas past- he understood my "vision" and made it all come to life. A true craftsman and just a great guy- he's back at ours whenever anything goes wrong or needs doing! Couldn't recommend him more.

A terrific craftsman - and a thoroughly nice man!
I already knew how good Mickie is because he had painted all the exterior doors and window frames of my house some five or six years ago - and had done a terrific job, which is still as good as when he finished. This time I wanted pretty well the whole of the inside of the house painted from top to toe. The house has eight rooms in all, plus hall, staircase, landings and corridors. Once embarked Mickie stuck at the job and completed it all single-handed in eight weeks, never leaving to do another job. He was/is courteous, conscientious and extremely tidy and organised, working systematically around the house, a room at a time, coping uncomplainingly with years of clutter. He took in his stride a last-minute change of colour scheme. He also willingly undertook extra small assignments (fixing a drawer-front, rooting out a defunct water softener etc). He had produced a quote some months before starting, and it was this sum exactly that I paid. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent customer service
Due to defective guttering, rainwater was seeping into my flat and causing significant damage to both the walls and a wooden floor. Given the forecast for more heavy rain over the coming week, I was really concerned that the damage would worsen and needed a repair attended to quickly. I called Mickie, made an appointment and he attended promptly (he was waiting for me outside at 7am!). He inspected, ascertained the exact cause of the problem, went away to purchase necessary materials (section of downpipe, hopper etc) before returning to carry out the repair. As I was unable to remain in attendance throughout, Mickie did the work alone, sent me a report and photos on completion of the job and left the site impeccably clean and tidy. To my mind, this represented exemplary customer service at a fair and reasonable cost. Thoroughly recommended.

Incredible! Couldn't recommend highly enough
Mickie was absolutely amazing, as was Simon, who was helping him. A lovely man who did a brilliant job and really went the extra mile and made sure to get it all done in time. Nothing was too much and we felt completely confident leaving him to get on with the job. The finish is excellent and the house completely transformed. Will definitely re-book him in the future!

A great job by a great guy - highly recommended
Mickie painted some newly installed built in wardrobes for us when our other decorator let us down. It was such a pleasure to work with Mickie compared to others that we have used in the past. Not only was he reliable, punctual, exceptionally clean and tidy, but the quality of his work is second to none. Punctual, thorough and on-budget.
Mickie painted and repaired all my exterior window and door frames. Once he started work - two weeks after I'd accepted his very fair estimate - he only missed one day, which was due to rain. He worked solidly each and every day, was clean and courteous, creating no inconvenience at all. He was pleasant and evidently trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone in our area.

Range of jobs, all done to high standard
Mickie decorated our house inside and out, including carrying out re-plastering work and other repairs. He also replaced garden fencing, rebuilt part of a brick wall and carried our repairs to internal doors, etc. He provided sound advice on all the jobs and carried them out to an extremely high standard, on time and on budget. Quick, clean, efficient and well priced

Fantastic - Strongly recommend
Interior Worx have completed 3 decorating projects for us recently and the standard plus finishing have exceeded our expectations every time. Interior Worx take the time to really get to know you, your all important home and the look you want to achieve. Really listening and taking on board fully our ideas, colour schemes, style and budget. Interior Worx have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to period properties and were always happy to offer up their professional advice and inspiration too if we wanted it. The ball was always in our court and this approach worked really well for us. Minor changes along the way were never too much trouble and the end results were amazing.
