Tree pruning
Nigel and team reduced height and tidied a range of deciduous and evergreen trees in my garden. Advice was given on what was best to do and when to undertake with weather and wildlife considerations. The work was completed to a very high standard and all areas tidied on completion. Some minor additional work in pruning a couple of smaller shrubs was undertaken, which wasn’t expected, but no additional costs were requested. First time using Carringtons but will be using again and happy to recommend to others.

Great job and very tidy
Nigel and his team came bang on time, all polite and professional. They cut back a 25 foot overgrown tree and left it with a nice shape. They removed a large fern tree that was too large for the garden, pruned a 20 foot mock orange giving it a neat rounded shape, removed holly and pruned a hedge in the front garden. They took pride in leaving the garden looking spotless, no mess to be seen, and regularly checked with me that I was happy. Considering the fern tree was not part of the original job speck, I was pleasantly surprised the final bill was slightly less than originally quoted. Very happy and will use Carringtons again.

3rd time job at my property
Nigel and his team did a great job removing 4 sixty foot Leylandi trees from a difficult part of my garden. ( 65 yards ) to kerbside through narrow access. This was the 3rd time Carringtons had done work for me. Nigel also trimmed overhanging neighbours trees and my Cherry trees. I was in hospital when the work was done and Nigel informed my wife of of the jobs progression at every stage. The clear up was immaculate.

Professional and a great job done

Excellent job done
Carringtons pruned our mature Bay tree and did an excellent job. Arrived promptly, did a thorough job and cleaned up afterwards. We are very pleased with the results and at a price that was good value. I can happily recommend Nigel and his team.

Fantastic professional service
Experienced tree surgeons who know their ‘stuff’. Communication is great and they arrive on time. No time wasting, straight on the job! The guys work quickly and thoroughly. Afterwards my garden was cleared and you’d have no idea that I’d had so much work done! Garden looks fabulous, so neat and tidy. Would recommend to all.

Tree removal
Carringtons removed a 30ft+ tree in my garden. They completed the work efficiently and without damage to the surrounding vegetation. The branches were removed and put through a chipper and the trunk was removed in manageable sized pieces. Small twigs etc were removed in bags leaving the garden clean and tidy. I was impressed with their professionalism and safe working practices. The work was completed on time and on budget. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Carringtons again and would recommend them to anyone needing similar work done.

Pruning of trees and hedges
Following a house move, we needed to seriously prune some of the trees and hedges on the property. Nigel came and gave advice on what needed to be done and what could wait until another year, clearly knowledgeable on the types of trees concerned. Also gave a reasonable quote. Due to other work being done, we had to put Nigel off until we were ready but he was completely understanding and fitted us in once we were ready to proceed. Turned up on the agreed day with a small team who all worked quickly and efficiently to get the work done. They protected other plants and flowers as best as possible while they worked, and removed all cuttings on completion leaving the garden neat and tidy again. They were also very sensitive about the possibility of nesting birds in the trees while they were pruning them. We're very pleased with the result and will happily use him again.

Professional and friendly service
Nigel and his team provide a very friendly and efficient service which makes dealing with them a pleasure. The eucalyptus tree in my garden was getting out of hand and has been trimmed right back but, still looks a very pleasant shape. All the work undertaken is cleared away and you wouldn’t know that they had been. Superb job.

Excellent, knowledgeable, friendly Tree Surgeons
Nigel and his team have done two jobs for me now. The first time they pruned two trees back and cared for and cleared some conifers which had become overgrown. The second time they cut down a tree, shaped another and shaped and cleared some high hard-to-reach hedging. Both times Nigel visited and talked through exactly what I wanted. Approachable, helpful and clearly very knowledgeable giving honest, fair advice. The work that the team did was exactly as discussed and better, and the price was exactly as the quote was given initially. Fantastic job, completely recommend and will be using their services again. Emergency call out
Had tree and overgrown shrub causing a problem on a boundry fence. I telephoned, left a message, and received a call back right on time. Explained predicament - Nigel and team arrived next morning, on time as promised, and did a brilliant job of removing. I would highly recommend and infact have obtained an estimate for further work in due course.
