Telephoned this Company last Sunday, not an urgent job. Described what I would like, gave estimate over the phone. Arrived today (08/02/2011) appraised the job and within 45 minutes was completed. Extremely courteous & tidy. Would recommend this Company to anyone. Asked him about replacing the letter box, not his Trade but offered to procure new letter box & fit it. What beter service could one ask for?

Castle Locks gave prompt, reliable and expert service when my back door lock mechanism failed (I'd been advised by my insurance company's emergency locksmith that this was the problem). At my request I was given a quote over the phone based on them supplying a new mechanism. I was advised that it may be an obsolete part which would mean that the door would have to be adjusted to fit a different mechanism. However, I was assured that if this was the case the price would still be the same. In fact, even though the part was obsolete, they were able to source an alternative which would fit. As a result the price was well under the estimate.

My mother does not use the internet and had problems with the lock on the back door. I looked up Castle Locks for her after reading the reviews. Excellent service, turned up promptly and fixed everything. They also spotted a fault with another lock and fixed it for a small fee. They were also good and took my payment over the phone and let me know what they had done for my mother. Very impressive!

Castle Locks quoted a fair price and arrived within an hour and a half of calling and immediately sorted out the broken key in the lock as well as adjusting our conservatory doors all within the same price. Excellent and courteous service. I would thoroughly recommend them. I sourced Which? Local to find them - good service.

Phoned mid-morning to request a visit, and was told that I would get a visit before 6pm (same day), for someone to sort out our problem. Charges for any work were clearly explained in the phone call. On arrival, problem was speedily resolved: key not turning in lock. Also, checked out another "door problem" for us, this additional work being done carried out within original charge period at no extra cost. Very pleased with all work done, and definitely be recommending Castle Locks for their friendly and efficient work. Thank you very much Mario.

Phoned to ask for a quote for a lock replacement for a front door at my mother-in-laws home. Quote seemed very reasonable so I asked if they could do the job today and advised that I could be there in about an hours time. The locksmith arrived within 1.5 hrs and fitted a new lock within 5 mins. Polite, professional, helpful and excellent value. Would recommend.
