“Castle Locks gave prompt, reliable and expert service when my back door lock mechanism failed (I'd been advised by my insurance company's emergency locksmith that this was the problem). At my request I was given a quote over the phone based on them supplying a new mechanism. I was advised that it may be an obsolete part which would mean that the door would have to be adjusted to fit a different mechanism. However, I was assured that if this was the case the price would still be the same. In fact, even though the part was obsolete, they were able to source an alternative which would fit. As a result the price was well under the estimate.”
“My mother does not use the internet and had problems with the lock on the back door. I looked up Castle Locks for her after reading the reviews. Excellent service, turned up promptly and fixed everything. They also spotted a fault with another lock and fixed it for a small fee. They were also good and took my payment over the phone and let me know what they had done for my mother. Very impressive!”

Telephoned this Company last Sunday, not an urgent job. Described what I would like, gave estimate over the phone. Arrived today (08/02/2011) appraised the job and within 45 minutes was completed. Extremely courteous & tidy. Would recommend this Company to anyone. Asked him about replacing the letter box, not his Trade but offered to procure new letter box & fit it. What beter service could one ask for?
Fast, efficient, friendly and honest service.
Phoned to ask for a quote for a lock replacement for a front door at my mother-in-laws home. Quote seemed very reasonable so I asked if they could do the job today and advised that I could be there in about an hours time. The locksmith arrived within 1.5 hrs and fitted a new lock within 5 mins. Polite, professional, helpful and excellent value. Would recommend.
I contacted Castle Locks on Friday, & was told that Locksmith would contact me on Saturday morning, which he did do. In spite of being busy & about to go on holiday that afternoon, he looked at the problems with my front door, sourced a like-for-like replacement lock & fitted it, & made an adjustment to the other lock, that morning. I also heard him suggesting an alternative locksmith to a caller who he could not assist in time, but to whom he was helpful.
I made a phone call, we agreed the date and time. Castle Locks came as agreed, assessed the problem and offered a remedy to which I agreed to. They ordered the parts, returned and fitted. Job done. Dusted. Just how I like it to be.

Polite & efficient on the telephone when I rang for details re a new key barrel. Good explanation as to what was included in price i.e. checking if any adjustment was needed with door/frame. Came well within 2 hour time slot given for appointment, new barrel and decks carried out very quickly, cleanly & efficiently.

When our conservatory door wouldn't open on a Saturday morning thus blocking access to the garden and with a long list of things I had promised my wife "yes I am going to do that", then Castlelocks saved the day. They were prompt easy to deal with and generally supportive - so - ensuring my avoiding another day of eating "humble pie" over oversights on my part, hey hoy!

Castle Locks phoned in advance to let me know they would be with me in an hour which was between the time already arranged. He turned up and was very friendly and got straight to work. Knew exactly what he was doing and let me know the costs etc. before doing anything. Great service!
