Missing evidence lowers the score because we can't check it. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Claiming a profile never changes the score. Evidence context, not a guarantee of workmanship.

“Highly professional and highly responsive. Chris has complete two roofing jobs for us, extremely impressed with the standard of work, and the fast efficient way he completed it. He’s also very friendly and keen to help, I would defo rely recommend him.”
“Chris and Jamie did a great job of fixing some blocked guttering that was causing overflowing. It's the second time they've done some work for me (after fixing a roof leak at me old house 5 years ago) and I'd give the same review both times: - clear explanations of what needed doing, - good quality work - solved the problem both times - left the place tidy - reasonable price”
“The weekend downpours saw water gushing down an outside wall from a hopper at roof level. Chris, together with son Jamie, came round at short notice to ascertain the problem and clear the hopper, where leaf and other debris was blocking/slowing the water flow into the downpipe. They also looked at the roof/channel leading into the hopper for other problems and excessive moss growth. We have used Chris for many years. His service is prompt, polite and efficient, with solutions offered regardless of the problem, be it a major or minor issue.”

Roofing isn't licensed, so anyone can set up - and it's a trade with more than its share of cowboys. A big re-roof must meet building regulations; CompetentRoofer (the Government-authorised NFRC scheme) registers roofers who can self-certify that, and vets and inspects them at least twice a year. Check they're on it before you hire.
