CJS Electrical

Over the last few years CJS has completed a number of jobs at our house varying from small, one hour, to more complicated, two days. They are responsive to enquiries and provide detailed estimates for the work. They agree a schedule and turn up at the agreed time. Their technicians are skilled and if there is a problem, backup is always available from the head office. Their work is performed to a high standard and test documentation, if required, is provided. I highly recommend CJS for electrical work.

We recently used CJS Electrical to complete extensive electrical work to a property in West Wales. Due to the location of the property, this work was undertaken in our absence but we couldn’t have wished for a more professional, quality and stress-free experience. Chris undertook a thorough survey and identified the work that needed to be done, then both he and James spent time with us planning how best to approach the various aspects of the job. We were more than happy for Geoff and Declan, the electricians, to have a key to the property and had complete faith and trust in their workmanship. They communicated with us at least once a day, sent photos to show how the work was progressing and ensured that we were informed if any unforeseen issues arose that we had to make decisions about. It was a pleasure to be able to visit the property after the work was completed to find that it had been done with care, consideration and most importantly, as agreed. We would highly recommend CJS Electrical.

I needed some plug sockets in my elderly mother’s bedroom for a TV after she came out of hospital. I was told it could be weeks before anyone was free. However when I explained the situation James visited that morning and assessed the work. By lunch time a very efficient young woman electrician had arrived and started the job. As it is an old house she tested everything first and then got the job done to a much higher standard than we had imagined possible! What kindness and what service. I can’t recommend the team enough. The first point of contact who took the call also deserves praise for making sure all the details were passed on and acted on so quickly. Big thanks to all.

I called CJS on Friday 7th May having been continually let down by another firm. It was such a refreshing experience. The service was friendly and efficient. The job was completed the same day, to a really high standard with the engineer on time. I can’t recommend highly enough. CJS Electrical (Wales) ltd carried out the installation of my home electric vehicle charging system. The initial contact, assessment and quotation was carried out with great efficiency. The equipment was in stock so the installation occurred swiftly. The engineer was polite and carried out the installation without any problems and I can now confirm everything is working as it should. This was a relatively small job of fitting several lighting appliances in our house during pandemic times but CJS Electricals listened to our request politely. Within 24 hours they communicated with us whether we would accept a ‘cancellation slot’ at short notice. The engineer was friendly, efficient, helpful and had the multiple fittings up in very little time. He was particularly aware of pandemic rules and guidelines. Our experience here was that of a highly efficient friendly service with excellent communication. Price very reasonable. Would use again.

Had a electric boiler system supplied and fitted by CJS over a year ago. Had a slight issue with it this weekend and managed to get hold of a engineer on a Sunday and talked me through the issue.

CJS recently fitted some extra sockets for me. Everyone I spoke to at the company, from initially arranging a quote through to a follow up call after the job from Chris the MD, was friendly & helpful. The electrician did a great job; the work is neat and she was thorough in cleaning up after. I'd use them again & would definitely recommend!

Last evening (Easter Sunday) at about 9.00pm we had a crisis at home with an electrical fault. I rang CJS and spoke to Chris. Instead of coming out, he talked me through the various possibilities and eventually identified the problem. He kindly explained clearly what I had to do and immediately power was restored. I could not be more impressed and grateful.

Chris and the team recently helped with the renovation work we are having done, having used them previously to perform a basic electrical check on the property before we started. They did the work I asked for, and gave suggestions where things could be improved - and not just in areas that needed money spent! The team were flexible to my requirements, always arrived on time, and cleaned up meticulously after them. Would recommend!
