Carpet section roll back/lift and re-fit at a later date Kept us informed right up to his arrival time. First part of job went well. Second part date to be agreed. Pleasant and polite at all times. Second visit was as expected, prompt and polite and professionally carried out. Well done Chris. Polyflor Installation in Shower Room Before the job started Chris was on hand to give sound advice about the best way to proceed with the existing floor. My builder friend took the old floor up and with Chris' guidance we are on track to put a new floor down ready for Chris to do his magic! There has been very good communication and advice. Chris reacted to photos sent and queries very quickly....immediately really. I am very happy and the job has yet to start. It is unusual to do feedback before the job is complete however exceptional trade professionals are hard to get and I felt I simply must write these words of praise. Jules Coggeshall

Carpet fitter Ipswich IP1 Communication was not great with this trade person The job did not go ahead I was given flakey responses in committing to day and time. Please make sure to commit and agree a day and time when job is agreed to and that would be useful to help consumer plan work commitments Answer from tradesperson: From the outset it was difficult to get a response from my client, as he was obviously dragging his feet hoping for a `slash & run` quote, (which he now obviously has). It`s difficult to commit to a job, when the client wants to `book you in`, yet hasn`t even got their carpet & delays with deliveries are a hazard of the job. I offered him the afternoon of delivery (Tuesday),to fit his carpet, which he declined,agreeing the following the day around midday, i hadn`t had confirmation of his carpet delivery, so accepted a Dr`s appointment (Wednesday),for my ear infection instead, then said i would come to him after. He confirmed delivery at just before 4 in the afternoon, (Tuesday), & now suddenly seemed `flexible` on his dates & time, so i said Thursday would be brilliant.Confirmations were lax, commitment weak & address unknown, speaks volumes to me, held out & received the cheaper quote he wanted.Good Luck with your job, but Skilled trades aren`t cheap, Cheap Trades aren`t skilled. Vinyl Floor to be fit in bathroom Showed up on time and really professional - can't fault him
Carpet to lay Very nice and polite gentleman, perfect time keeping and communication and has done a very good job, would use again and would recommend to other customers, thank you.

Pull up bar drill Fantastic, polite and honest. Got a pull up bar from amazon installed, the bolts it came with were not good and he replace them with way better/safer ones for no charge, even driving to the local store to get them. Damp patches in flank wall Chris attended within a day and phoned me with a "heads up". Awaiting the report and quote.

Replace vinyl tiles for use as homeoffice 5mx3m Chris proved very knowledgable in dealing with an old vinyl tiled floor. Tiny bathroom vinyl flooring. Colchester area. ASAP. Ty We were struggling to find a fitter for our bathroom vinyl. Chris was available at short notice. He did a great job and was very friendly. Highly recommend.

- Lino flooring - 1 room - Flooring purchased, fit only **Customer description** Vinyl flooring to be laid in recently refitted ground floor bath / shower room. W/C not fitted yet so no need to cut around this. 3mm ply has been stapled onto floorboards so should be level. Vinyl already purchased. Excellent, professional service all round from Chris. Vinyl flooring fitted and sealed in a family bathroom to a high standard, at a very reasonable price and fitted in at short notice.
