Chris contracted for me on a 5 month extension and renovation project. He was part of the team covering all aspects of the build from the the groundwork through to the finishing stages of the project. He is a competent ground worker, landscaper, carpenter, and covers general building work too. At times Chris was site managing for me whilst I was away on family holidays, I was very happy knowing that the instructions left would be undertaken to the higg quality that i request and was confident leaving my customers to work along him. As a person you won't find a kinder more genuine human. As a professional tradesman he is excellent, competent, hard working and trustworthy. I will not hesitate to call Chris again when the next project arises.

Chris did a great job tiling our kitchen, hanging some doors and general carpentry work at ours. Professional, polite and has good attention to detail. Finished result looks great, very pleased.

Chris recently did a brilliant job in boxing in the exposed central heating pipework throughout our flat. It wasn't the most straight forward project but Chris kept us updated and informed throughout. Friendly, knowledgable, highly professional and importantly, kept the flat extremely clean throughout! I booked Chris to replace my front entrance door with a fire door. He matched the style and colours to specification, and even tidied up the decoration around the door frame as part of the job. He completed things on time and left the site clean and tidy, and most importantly, the door worked first time with no snags. Chris was prompt, efficient and reliable and I look forward to working with him again.

This has been the 2nd time Chris has completed works for me. Firstly he fitted bespoke skirting boards around my flat after it was rewired. The result was a fantastic looking finish and because of this, I used Chris again to complete other works to help fit a bespoke panel for my boiler to tidy up the area and create a neater look. It was completed to the agreed schedule. Chris worked on site using his professional set up and the budget was in line and affordable. On first impressions, Chris stands out a mile from his competition. He has a very friendly approachable manner about him, and immediately understood what I wanted. His professionalism is second to none. It is clear to see that Chris takes great pride with his work delivering to a very high standard. Having already used Chris once, there was no doubt I would be using his services again. Chris was very helpful throughout the works, providing updates on his progress. He was brilliant at answering any queries I had and was extremely helpful along the way. He is a highly talented & skilled Carpenter who is reliable, professional & trustworthy which is very difficult to come by. I can't recommend Chris highly enough.

Chris cut and fitted new gloss-finish doors to our new fridge-freezer (the old F-F doors didn't fit) to match the rest of our fitted kitchen, and cut and fitted an additional shelf in one of the kitchen cupboards. We'd struggled to find someone willing to do the job - it was less than a full day's work and maybe recommended traders prefer to just lineup bigger jobs. So we were happy when Chris provided an acceptable quote and was able to fit us in within a few weeks of initial contact. He arrived on time and did a brilliant job, taking the time needed to make sure everything was fitted with precision and care, and with a good finish. He was also careful to tidy up afterwards. Overall we are very pleased.

Chris Glidden t/a Concious Concepts is a multi-skilled professional with a pleasant can-do approach to his tasks. He skillfully constructed and fitted an indoor shelf for me, and an outside door, both to a very high standard. A few weeks later, he removed a wooden step and replaced it with a stone step with precision.
