External window cill replacement Very positive. Robin arrived exactly on time as promised and worked solidly throughout the day. He made an excellent job of replacing a rotted window cill using first-rate materials. He left his work site tidy, clearing up after his work. I would have no hesitation about recommending Mr Cook and would certainly use his services again.
Install Ikea kitchen and bespoke doors in new extension I’m delighted with the work that Robin has done for us in our new Kitchen and Utility rooms. He visited us to discuss requirements while the rooms were still being constructed, and agreed on the details for the installation. He provided a detailed quote quickly and was available to fit in with our build program. On-site he had some challenges due to other contractors over-running but worked around this. He was very conscientious and asked plenty of questions to make sure he got everything how we wanted. Despite some mismatches between the Ikea carcasses and the bespoke Holte doors Robin managed to get everything looking perfect. He also came up with a great solution to fill in an awkward gap, and we now have a concealed unit for a towel rail. I know Robin had some major issues with his van during the time he worked on our project, but this did not interfere with his work and he was always on-site at the agreed time and worked without a break all day! It’s reassuring to find a good tradesman like Robin, and I’m sure we’ll be using him again in the future. Thanks, Robin and myBuilder!
Window Repair Really disappointed with this contractor. Agreed a price and was booked in for weeks time. On the morning he called me to say that his van had broken down the night before and he would call me to re arrange on the Friday. Friday came and went, tried calling and texting the week after and he is just not coming back to me. Had to go through a lot of effort to arrange with tenant and he has let me down.
Install a new kitchen worktop Robin did a great job on our kitchen worktop. He was very professional and completed the job in one day. We can barely see the joints which is amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone. (Updated on 8 Oct 2019)
1. Stair balustrade 2. Shelves 3.Cupboard modification Very happy with the work completed. Robin was able to complete the job within a week of providing a quote and the end product looks great. Would be happy to recommend.

Replace wooden framed leanto Excellent workmanship the leanto looks perfect inside and outside. Time estimate for carrying out the job were exact. The price for the work was competitive. I will be hiring again for other work. (Updated on 1 Apr 2019)
Refurb kitchen Kitchen has been fully re-fitted including tiling, boxing in boiler, pocket door fitting, cupboard units, appliances and worktops. The fitting is of superb quality and professionally completed to a high standard. Robin is efficient and punctual with time and provides a competitive quote. He is highly skilled in his profession and would highly recommend him to others, we'll be asking him to quote for the garage conversion.
Refurbish kitchen Robin gave an excellent service. We required 2 new work tops fitted and sink plus we were having new flooring fitted robin took up the old flooring. Robin was so reliable and was so helpful. It was clear from the tools he has invested in and the care and attention he took in every detail that Robin takes a lot of pride in his work. He is completely upfront in what he will charge and what he can and can't do so there are no surprises. I would not hesitate to use him again and recommend him to anybody needing work done.
Refitting a cellar Robin was very professional throughout. He listened to my requirements and came up with a very good price for the job. He arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. He was able to use his skills to come up with some excellent answers to the problems of woodworking in a cellar without damaging the new seal including skirting, shelving, door surrounds and door hanging as well as boxing in some awkward pipe work. He also laid some tiles and rehung a radiator too! The quality of the work was excellent. He finished the work on time and at the estimated cost. He is coming back to do some more work for me soon which shows how pleased I am with the high quality of his work. Definitely recommended. (Updated on 3 Apr 2019)
Alcove Unit and Bookcase Robin designed and fitted built-in bookcase and tv units into two alcoves. The work was exceptional and we're super happy with the results. Robin was a pleasure to deal with, and very enthusiastic about his trade. (Updated on 3 Apr 2019)
Hang 3 new doors Robin was very professional and prompt when arranging a time to quote. He did a fantastic job on hanging the doors and we hired him to do 3 further jobs: Build under stairs cupboard - Robin made these cupboards to measure and was very diligent in ensuring they fitted perfectly and checked we were happy with the design throughout the process, making changes where we requested. Fix join between worktops in kitchen - We hired Robin to do this as we could not get the original tradesman who fitted them to get back to us to arrange to correct the issue. Robin made a fantastic job and we are so happy our dream kitchen is now up to the standard we expected. Hanging of wardrobe pole and repairing curtain pole fixings - Robin made the fixings to measure and its all looking fantastic. Bedroom is now complete. I would recommend Robin to all, he's professional, friendly and competitive & he's the first I turn to for quotes on any work we are looking at doing.
Fit 5 new internal doors Very pleased with the doors, Robin is a true professional and it's clear he knows his stuff. I'd highly recommend him.
KITCHEN REFIT a small kitchen but not without its problems. job completed with a minimum of fuss. Robin was very pro active in all aspects of the job and it was a completed very well.
Carpenter needed for kitchen Robin is an incredibly talented carpenter that is willing to give everything a go, even the more challenging jobs! His dedication and thoughtfulness to his craft, means he achieves an excellent standard in all the work he undertakes. He is extremely reliable, very punctual and works exceptionally hard. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
