I asked D&G to quote for decorating and tiling work in 4 bedrooms and a shower room. The quote was competitive, detailed and prompt. We agreed a start date and the work commenced. The team were so helpful in moving all the furniture from room to room, and removing old carpets allowing us to continue living in the property whilst the work was carried out. The standard of work was excellent. The preparation and final finish were great. I was so pleased with the work, that I asked them to continue with the rest of the house, which they did straight away. The work now included new wooden flooring, painting and wallpaper hanging throughout halls, dining and lounge areas. To top it off, they even came back to help move the furniture when the new carpets arrived some 3 weeks later! I would recommend this company without a second thought. Great job.

D & G Construction built a side extension to our house which included knocking out internal walls and preparing for a very large sliding door. Although the original house was built in 1989, we wished the new extension to be as Passivhaus and well insulated as possible. This included removing existing radiators throughout the whole house and preparing the house for installation of a Heat Recovery Ventilation System that will also provide heating and cooling. The men worked extremely hard on site, were courteous, friendly and polite at all times. We are very pleased with finished result.

We have been working with D and G construction for a few years now and their work is impeccable. The project management is excellent and delivered in an acceptable time frame and any problems which arise are dealt with efficiently without causing the client concern. The sites are kept clean and the work rate is very high quality. As a respected architectural practice in Kent, we find it difficult to recommend construction companies to work on our projects but we have no hesitation in recommending D and G Construction.

The project involved knocking through into the eaves to create more space for a bedroom. The guys at D & G Construction were efficient, the work was completed to a high standard and as expected. A few variations were requested which they accommodated without fuss. The team were tidy, worked hard and completed the project on time.

The project consisted of replacing a small conservatory on the back of the house with a larger ground-floor extension and combining it with a complete refurbishment of the kitchen, lobby and downstairs toilet, including a new boiler, which had been damaged by a leak upstairs a few months earlier. Our architect recommended D&G Construction as a firm she had worked with previously and considered their work to be of a very high standard. The fact that they were a Which? Trusted Trader convinced us. Initially, we thought their quote was a little bit high but they agreed to include a new patio in the price and we decided to go ahead. This was a decision we shall never regret. The work commenced on 13th March and the weather conditions in the first weeks were abominable. However, they kept well on schedule and the skill of all their workers was amazing. David, the boss, visited regularly, kept us fully informed throughout, and nothing was too much trouble. They never took the easy way out and actually resolved some long-standing drainage problems for us while laying the patio. They liaised really well with the architect, kitchen planner and ourselves - it was like being part of an enthusiastic and highly professional team. They always cleaned up afterwards and were very considerate of our needs. My husband was admitted to hospital around the time the work completed and they helped me by putting up curtain poles, mirrors, pictures etc. I would recommend them to anyone.

D&G helped us with our rear extension. The whole team were very hardworking, extremely respectful of us (we were living in this house while the work was happening, so this was important to us) and professional. David was great with the communication and dealt with any issues that propped up pretty quickly. He and his team were very helpful with all aspects of the work and went beyond too. It was a big project for us and we are glad we chose D&G. We absolutely love our new space and actually even forgot how the old house was! We would highly recommend them. Thank you D&G!
