Dennis came round at the agreed time and he replaced a new hydrioflo cistern side valve. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and was reasonably priced. It's working fine now, thank you Dennis.
I needed to move a gas pipe quickly to accommodate a fuse board installation and rang Dennis hoping he might be able to help. He responded very quickly and kept me regularly updated on how soon he could attend. I found him and his team (family) to be very pleasant to deal with and I was impressed with his professionalism and "no-nonsense" approach. He also gave me good advice and pointed out potential issues, one of which he fixed on the spot. They worked quickly and efficiently and overall it was a job well done. I have no hesitation in recommending him and I will definitely be using him again!
My loft tank was intermittently overflowing but only in the early hours of the morning (3-5am) so it could have been the ballcock and valve in the tank or a problem with the hot water tank. Due to the time it was happening it was difficult for us to determine which. I left a message for Dennis on a Sunday and he got in touch Monday morning and arranged to call that afternoon. He and his assistant were very pleasant, knowledgeable and able to diagnose and fix the problem straightaway. They also gave me an estimate for some plumbing work to connect an electric shower that my builder had left unfinished due to problems with Covid. I haven't used them for this as the builder then sent a new plumber round to do this job with no charge as it had been left unfinished for so long. However, I'm confident they would have done a good job and I would definitely recommend; just be aware you will be paying for two people.
Absolute gentlemen. Did a great job checking my boiler and then fixed my washing machine as well after I'd mentioned it wasn't configured properly (didn't even ask them to). Highly recommend.
I phoned Dennis having checked reviews of the most local plumbers on Which Trusted Traders. He had the highest score and I can understand why. Our kitchen mixer tap was almost running water and I couldn’t fix it myself. It was Friday afternoon. Dennis understood it couldn’t really wait until Monday. He came, checked what was wrong, drove to get the required part, installed it and left all within the hour so his repair didn’t go over the callout charge. In addition, the valve was less than half the price stated on the Franke website. I was very impressed and would happily recommend him.

A good honest family firm, always reliable and efficient, couldn’t be happier with the work completed, would highly recommend.
Dennis identified the problem with my leaking loo, fitted the part and solved the problem. They were quick, cleared up well and charged reasonably. I would use them again for plumbing work.
Dennis speedily identified the cause of leaking from the toilet cistern. Rectified previous plumbers botch job by fitting a new flexible hose and washer. He also fixed the cistern more securely to the wall. Completed job within quoted cost and time frame. . Arrived 10 mins early. Very pleasant manner. job within quoted price and time frame. Cleaned up and left bathroom spotlessly clean. Very happy with quality of work and would have no hesitation in recommending Dennis.
Called Dennis, he was around in 20 mins, sorted out a leaking valve and gas boiler which had stopped working. It’s working now. Very highly recommended.
I had a leaky mixer tap that wouldn’t budge when I tried to change the washer, and a water pump that had stopped working, and Dennis and his assistant were able to solve both problems and get everything working again in just over half an hour.
Our sink and toilet had extremely poor water pressure and needed fixing as soon as possible as we were on a tight schedule. Dennis was able to accommodate us and everything was fixed within a couple of hours of calling!! Very helpful and polite too.
Carried out a difficult new dishwasher and new radiator installation. Having juggled his schedule around to accommodate my pressing need for the work (ahead of a house-move and a baby arrival), Dennis and Elliot worked efficiently and professionally throughout. Also coordinated with an excellent electrician (Sue) for the wiring/electrical element of the project. Excellent finish - just what we were looking for. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
Dennis was very responsive, pitched up when he said he would and did the repair to my father's venerable Ideal Mexico boiler with minimum fuss. He and his assistant were polite and cordial. Good service.
Dennis and his assistant proved smarter than a Bosch engineer and two separate teams of John Lewis installers, who had already been out to look at my washer. When I explained that I had discovered a major spillage all around my relatively new Bosch washing machine on 02/03/18 and that no one else had yet been able to explain it, their experience and insight immediately enabled them to recognize that the freezing temperatures caused by 'the Beast from the East' had been the culprit. They helped me understand how condensation from my boiler must have frozen somewhere in the external pipe system into which both the boiler and the washer drain, causing a major back-up when the machine emptied. Now I can use my machine again with confidence and resolve my dispute with John Lewis and Bosch to everyone's satisfaction. Mystery solved; case closed. Plus, Dennis and his assistant were so clearly knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and helpful that I'm having them back soon to replace my kitchen tap. I feel I've found MY plumber. Dennis and his apprentice assisted us with an array of bathroom issues, in particular the flush and shower hose. Where new parts were needed Dennis had ordered them online and was off to collect and back in no time. He also checked a small gas leak in our gas fire and had cleaned it out and resolved the issue in less than the estimated time frame. Very pleased.
