A good company, friendly, efficient and reliable
We have used DB Heating for the past four years who provide a yearly gas safety service to the boiler and cooker in our holiday park home. The engineer Ali usually attends and is always pleasant, friendly and efficient in his work. If we are unable to be at the park home while the service is completed we would not hesitate to allow him access to the property by key collection from reception. When booking an appointment the receptionist is helpful and very pleasant. We certainly recommend this company.

Ali gave our boiler its annual service. He arrived promptly and carried out the work efficiently. When the job was complete, he ran through what he had done. I would highly recommend DB Heating and their friendly workforce.

Annual Boiler Service
DB Heating installed our new oil boiler in May 2025. The work was completed very well with minimal disruption. The system has performed efficiently and a DB Heating engineer has just completed the first service. The engineer carried out a full check on the oil supply arrangements, to check for cleanliness and pipework condition, then serviced the boiler itself. A replacement nozzle was fitted as a matter of course and the boiler operated to check the running characteristics, specifically to ensure optimum combustion. The central heating system filter was cleaned and rust inhibiter solution added. The work was completed to an excellent standard, again with minimal disruption, and the engineer is to be complimented on his professional work. Thank you DB Heating.

Experts at all forms of heating and plumbing, as well as the making good of any walls, ceilings, etc that have been affected. The engineers are reliably punctual, cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful and are a pleasure to have working in one's house or other quarters.

Alistair arrived as arranged and quickly set to assess our heating system. He checked the filter and the pump. He was friendly and obviously an experienced engineer. He was able to answer a couple of queries which I had. It was nice to have him back again to service our boiler.

We called DB Heating due to an unexpected leak under our kitchen sink. George, one of their plumbers, was with us within an hour of putting the phone down with the office. The service George and the office provided was of the highest standard and we will definitely be using them again. Thank you.

Annual oil boiler service completed early as a fault had developed. All sorted and replacement parts fitted in two visits. Everything is now working well again. Timely, helpful and polite engineers who care about the work they do. Would recommend to anyone. Excellent customer service from start to finish.

Boiler installation
The three man team arrived punctually and were ably led by Ryan Harris, a very experienced and competent engineer. Throughout the four days that the job required they were all professional and tidy. Their motto of "There are no problems, only solutions" was tested a few times but all minor problems encountered were resolved easily. Each member of the team was competent to carry out their tasks. The boiler recommended by their manager, Richard, appears to be ideal for our circumstances. All four were cheerful and enthusiastic approaching their work as a vocation rather than a job. This was mirrored by the administrative staff with whom we had telephone contact. They dealt with matters promptly and efficiently. We had gone to this firm because it had been highly recommended by a close friend for whom they had installed a boiler a couple of months previously. We concluded that they would approach all customers in a similar manner.

I have had 2 scheduled visits from DB engineers and they were all kind, courteous and exceptionally tidy in their work. Billy and George did a fantastic job of removing and re-siting a radiator and Alistair serviced the boiler. I appreciated the open and honest conversations I had with them all. As a single female, you can't help but think you might be getting scammed a bit, but not with this company. No hidden charges and the work was completed in a very timely manner. The contact with the office staff has been a delight too, so friendly and helpful. I will definitely continue using this company in the future. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
