“Daren and his assistant Gerwyn just completed a 2m high, 14.5m long garden party wall construction in double concrete block at my house in Blackwood. Having interviewed several builders, I knew within minutes of him measuring up the site and beginning to discuss our options that whatever his price, Darren would get the job. He is keen, fair and calculated on pricing and accurate in his estimating. He is open minded and willing to think about how best to achieve the optimum result that is what he and Gerwyn achieved. They are an excellent working team and I unhesitatingly recommend D J Hopkins building services. Darren is only interested in executing the best work. My advice is don't mess him around on price, he is completely trustworthy and don't look for the cheapest option, he is not the cheapest but he is the best because he is intelligent and skillful. He enjoys working with architects and I enjoyed working with him. Five stars...a breath of fresh air in the Valleys.”

Darren has recently completed a stunning patio for us. we are extremely pleased with the result - it has transformed our garden. He is a pleasure to have working around the house. Very reliable, conscientious and tidy. We would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be using him again.
Order was placed following work at a neighbours home. Clear quotation provided, work completed to schedule, extremly conscientious. Kept fully informed of status. Would definitely recommend.
Work undertaken completed to extremely high standard, I found Mr Hopkins to be approachable, meticulous, reliable, kept informed on progress and work completed on time, highly recommended!
