Initial contact made via a contact form concerning the installation of a cooker hood (seems like sellers don't install any more). Dean would respond a bit later to check on the details on the work required. Came out to check on a Friday (5/7/24), quote for work received on the following Tuesday (9/7/24). Having agreed, appointment booked for the Thursday (11/7/24). Came out during the agreed time slot, and got on with the task. See photos for reference for the completed work. Originally the kitchen coving went right across, and the cooker hood was installed so it would sit flush with the splashback and the ceiling. Work area was tidied, and we can do some serious cooking now. Excellent work. Would recommend.

Dean was very helpful and fitted into our rather demanding schedule as part of a house sale. He conducted a full inspection, replaced an old consumer unit, and tidied up some dodgy wiring and lighting in the garage. We can now put the house on the market with confidence that the electrics are safe.

Really pleased with Deans work. He was the 2nd electrician we had contacted, but was the only one that could do all works required and for the best price. He arrived promptly on the 1st day to complete works in the kitchen and identified a leak in the kitchen, which we subsequently spoke to our plumber about - thank you! We had no idea it was there. Dean and Josh then arrived the next week to complete the rest of the work (next phase wasn't as urgent as first) they were professional, really good with the children and worked to a really high standard. Our walls are a nightmare, but there is minimal repair to be done to fill in gaps as can be seen by the pic - especially where wallpaper is already added! Would highly recommend and will use again for future projects. Daughters only grumble? The guys enjoyed her chocolate buns too much!

Very quick to get back to me and got the job done the same day. 3 hours labour sounds like a lot for replacing a Light fitting but beggars can’t be choosers ! It needed doing .

I asked Dean to advise on replacing an old consumer unit and a few other electrical jobs. He was very happy and able to explain to someone without his level of knowledge, training and experience the pros and cons of undertaking my project. He submitted a quote and due to ‘winter pressures’ I did have to wait to. He is busy and we agreed a start for the 2 days work. The dates were met , the work completed as per quote. He advised via e mail on my purchases for the other electrical work and he sourced the consumer unit. I am delighted with the work Dean undertook. I live in a Victorian terraced property and am used to things not going to plan! Dean never seemed to mind me asking him how it was going always happy to explain where he was in the process alongside raising any unexpected issues as they came along. Dean was polite, respectful, courteous and cleared away all the mess … the work was completed as per quote and on time. I am happy to recommend DK Electricals.

Communication was great. Visited my property twice and called me to let me know when he would arrive both times. Highly professional and helpful. Stayed on the job until my problem was resolved. Dean's standards are better than other electricians I've previously used.

We made a call back request to D K Electrical via Trust a Trader as we needed to replace our broken thermostat. Dean called us back the same day, and within 2 days he had purchased the new one and completed the job! Other than the first call, all correspondence was via Whatsapp which made communication very easy. Dean was friendly and helpful, the work was done to a high standard and it was done promptly! We will without doubt contact D K Electricals again for future jobs! Thanks Dean 😊

Dean completed the work (updating wiring) for our new kitchen fixed new plugs and lights to our satisfaction including advising on new light. Would I use again, certainly.

Having used Dean for some recent work I had no hesitation in calling him when I needed an outside electrical point and wiring for an outside pump. I really appreciated him fitting me in quickly and working round the other contractors I had on site. Very pleased with the work and would highly recommend.
