“PROBLEM Tenants having variety of issues with keeping the house warm and free from damp. Also had ceiling collapse in a bedroom due to rainfall getting through dilapidated roof tiles. SOLUTION Full pitched roof tiles replacement, along with repairs to extension flat roof, flashing and some pointing works at the chimney stack. OUTCOME Several people recommended DLT Roofing and I had great experience from my initial call with Dave and Connie, leading up to the work be carried out, throughout the work and the aftercare has been exemplary! The tenants were well looked after, causing minimal disruption and clearing after themselves thoroughly. I would refer anybody needing roof work completed to DLT Roofing, because they are not only masters of their craft, but genuinely care about their customers.”

Flat roof repair and reseal for extension with liquid rubber - rapid roof system
From quote to completion, Dave and his team on site were brilliant. Dave came out and assessed our flat roof and gave us some options on what we do could within our budget and risk of future issues. We went for a liquid system, that offered excellent coverage and guarantee. We had a previous glass-reinforced fibre product (GRP), which after 3 years due to the movement of the house (we assume - had fractured somewhere, unseen), but water was leaking to the house when it rained. As it was impossible to know where the fractures where, the team Dave sent, carefully and diligently removed the old lead flashing, ground down and delamination and surplus areas, then applied the liquid rubber roofing system, with a base layer and 2 top costs. They also sealed around the sky lights and the edges ensuring a clean and tight seal, so no water could run over and seap in. Finally the coping stones had their mortar ground out and were resealed with a high performance silicone. All in all, great work, and friendly hard working team, who kept us informed of all the steps and processes. Not their fault, but the weather played it's part to stop work, so site manager kept us up to date with the plan and the team returned to finish all stages and final steps. Thank you Dave and Team!

Great work. Timely, responsive and friendly
DLT roofing were fantastic from the first point of contact. Helpful with advice and support, responded quickly to provide expert advice and quotation, with the work completed promptly and on time. Very efficient, polite and helpful.
Wow, no words can describe this company, from start to finish, they have been so kind, polite and helpful to correct my leaking roof, which had major problems caused by cowboys, DLT were on time, explained what work was done on the day, what time it would take to complete the job, never did they disturb me while working, they even went an extra mile to change some broken tiles and left some for me just incase needed in further, even took photographs to prove that the work was completed to my satisfaction. The quote was reasonable, place was left clean and tidy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this company, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent experience throughout
Dealing with DLT to organise a quote was really efficient. Responses were always prompt from organising a quote to scheduling. The work entailed replacing lead flashing on a number of windows and the chimney stack as well as replacing some missing roof tiles. The guys doing the work were superb. Very efficient, neat and tidy and professional but approachable. I sourced DLT via Which and would recommend this firm without any hesitation.

Excellent standard of work
DLT Roofing Ltd removed and refitted all the ridge tiles on the roof of my home; treated two chimneys; checked all the slates on the roof, replacing them where necessary; checked and cleaned the gutters; and replaced the masonry around the gable on the porch. All of this work was completed to the highest of standards. I was always treated with the utmost courtesy by the person who carried out the work and by the scaffolders. Written communication was excellent and I was very satisfied indeed with the service I received. I found the amount charged to be entirely reasonable. Skilled tradesmen - great result
DLT have provided us with a completely new tiled roof, to include facias and soffits, chimney stack, guttering, and renewing the roof on our bay window. The work has been carried out to a very high standard and has improved the look of our 1930s semi. Communication has been great and any queries dealt with swiftly. The team cleaned up efficiently and were most respectful of our property. We recommend this company and are reassured that the roof will be good for many years to come.

Re-pointing chimney breast and replacing lead flashing to the chimney base.
DLT Roofing have recently repaired our chimney which leaked following a recent severe storm. DLT's communication was good from the initial thorough assessment to a comprehensive written quote and prompt responses to texts and emails. The team who undertook the work were pleasant and hard working. They kept us informed of the jobs they would do each day and provided photos of the different stages of their work. They left the site clean and tidy once they had finished. The firm were reliable and the work done on the agreed dates. I am happy to recommend them and would use them again.

Very impressed

Slate roof replacement
Having had 10 years of trouble with my roof; Dave came to give me an honest appraisal of what needed to be done and most importantly when. Although not the cheapest or most expensive quote I had I was really impressed with how quickly my questions were answered and there was no pressure on me to commit. The team were able to start work soon after I accepted the quote, they kept me informed or progress and were very clean and tidy. The team went above and beyond to fix a minor render issue whilst the scaffolding was up and repainted the render near the roof. I would recommend this trader

Great company to work with, very prompt to come out and quote, giving good advice at the same time. Work carried out very quickly after accepting the quote. Great work force very polite and courteous. Left the site tidy and security being maintained overnight. Good quality of workmanship and happy to accommodate any changes you wish to make along the way. On completion left the site very clean and tidy, replacing anything they had moved previously. An impressive Outfit
DLT did an excellent job of stripping and relaying concrete tiles (plus re-bedding of lead flashing) on a single storey pitched roof. From the outset I was impressed with the professionalism of this business. Both workers operated with skill and care, cleaning up very well afterwards. Great job - real craftsmen
DLT Roofing Ltd carried out a complete re-felting and re-tiling of the pitched roof on my bungalow. At the same time they re-felted the bungalow’s flat roof ground-floor extension, and also re-felted the flat roof of the first-floor dormer, including installation of warm-deck insulation. When Dave came to look at the bungalow and to discuss the work, he gave helpful suggestions, and the quotation arrived quickly and was clearly and concisely presented. The roofing team worked hard, were very helpful and professional, and they tidied up thoroughly when the work was finished. The organisation and communication from the office were also excellent, and the whole job went very smoothly. The invoice amount was as quoted. My wife and I are very pleased with the end result. The roofing team have done a great job - they are real craftsmen - and the new roofs look excellent. We would thoroughly recommend DLT Roofing Ltd.

We offer both flat and pitched roof services, including various systems such as felt roofing, liquid plastics, metal cladding plus warm and cold deck systems. We can provide complete re-roofs, as well as refurbishment work. We also offer a full repair and property maintenance service. In addition to roofing work, we supply services for the roofline, such as guttering, rainwater goods, fascias and soffits. We carry out both domestic and commercial roofing work. All works come with our personal 15/20/25 year Installer's Guarantee and a Manufacturer's System Guarantee. We pride ourselves on an excellent customer service, quality workmanship and a hard working, friendly approach. No job is too small as we are happy to help and give advice where we can.
