Dobson & Clarke Limited

I have used Dobson and Clarke for a number of years. Their work, particularly on our rather complicated central heating system has always been excellent. They have even given advice over the phone late at night which has been invaluable during the last cold snap. I find they are very professional and fair in their pricing. All round, a 5 star service.

We have had many plumbing works done to our house in the last 11 years by Dobson & Clarke. Their work is always to a high standard and response rate to work requests is excellent. Our yearly boiler service, taps replaced in the house, leaking pipes fixed, unvented pressurised hot water system installed, all examples of work we have had completed by Dobson & Clarke. They also insulated one of our bedroom floors to sound proof it as well. They are clean and tidy too!

The construction of a basement bathroom from part of a storeroom with no existing services. Construction of the separate room, stud wall, doors, plastering, electrics etc. Installation of a shower, sink, toilet & maserator, heated towel rail and extractor fan. All tiling and finishing. Plus all the groundwork and pipe work required to connect to the above ground drainage outlets.

Gary, from Dobson and Clarke, has done several jobs for us in recent years. The first one was repairing our boiler as an emergency call-out on Christmas Eve and he has since maintained the boiler, servicing it annually and fitting a new thermostat recently. Additionally he has carried out a range of work including replacing radiators and refitting a cloakroom. Gary is professional and knowledgeable and the work is consistently of a very high standard. Additionally he is flexible and accommodating in order to ensure we are completely happy with the work. He communicates extremely well and ensures we are fully informed. Both he and his team are always considerate and respectful and as a result I would highly recommend Dobson and Clarke.

I had a wetroom put in downstairs and the floor of one of the rooms raised so that the whole of the downstairs of the house was level. I was moving my mum in with me because she is ill and disabled. The guys were just brilliant! They knew that the work was urgent and worked flat out meeting all deadlines. They answered all my queries immediately and checked with me whenever a decision needed making. They had to dig up the garden and lay new drains, repaving the patio to perfection afterwards, as well as put in a beautiful wooden floor in one room and a gorgeous high spec wetroom in the other. The standard of the work was high and we're all really happy that mum was able to move in with us so quickly. The guys tidied up at the end of each day and were always polite and helpful, in fact, they were an absolute pleasure to have around! Oh and they came in on budget too. I would recommend them to anyone!

We are having a refugee come to stay with us and needed a CP12 gas certificate at very short notice for the council. Gary was able to get us booked in quickly so we could meet the deadline. On the day he was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He was even able to offer advice on some other plumbing issues we were having. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gary's services and would certainly use him again in the future.

I have used Dobson & Clarke Ltd for several small jobs in the past, which is why I chose them for my bathroom renovation. Their work is of very high quality, and they pay attention to detail. The team were respectful and personable professionals to have in my home. We hit an unexpected snag towards the end of the project which they rectified promptly. The whole project was closely co-ordinated by Gary, who was also very helpful in making recommendations, and responsive when I had a query. I know of several of my neighbours who use Dobson and Clarke so you can rest assured that my great experience is indicative of a consistently high standard of work. They are in demand, and worth the wait.

I’ve used Gary on several occasions to complete the annual service of my boiler. He’s always on time, is a great guy to deal with and always incredibly helpful. I’d have no hesitation in recommending him. Great service all round
