No fuss, no nonsense, just good, efficient and friendly service
The concealed thermostatic shower and bath mixer in my bathroom was a fantastic fitment and worked perfectly for many years. Recently it had started to have problems with the thermostat jamming and taps misbehaving. I contacted Joseph, aka Dr Taps, who came round within a couple of days. He examined the mixer, removed the thermostat and water valves and assessed the work that was needed. The thermostat and valves would have to be replaced. He agreed to order the new parts and return to fit them as soon as they were delivered. He returned and carried out the work. He told me that the part of the mixer within the wall was in good condition. He left the whole thing working just fine. No fuss, no nonsense, just good, efficient and friendly service.

Trusted Plumber
I would highly recommend Dr Taps work and work ethic. Joe is fastidious and obliging and has just installed a boiler, a 3-column radiator and a kitchen sink and tap for me - the latter requiring quite a bit of jiggling and sawing to accommodate the new sink and tap, and which is fitted seamlessly. I felt every task was left in a safe pair of hands and I am very grateful for all Joe's hard work.

Joseph did All that he promised
I could not have asked for better. Turned up to quote straight away; it was clear from tghe beginning that he knew what he was about (and I have had recommended plumbers before who did not) ; he identified the problem and gave a competitive quote within hours. An appointment was made, he turned up on time completed the job within the quoted period (none of this "well actually it will take longer than I expected - will have to charge you extra). Was immaculately clean and efficient - I could not recommend hi more highly

An excellent plumber
We needed several jobs done: installing a Hive system, fitting a new shower, and connecting a waste pipe for our appliances. After Joe’s first visit, we were so impressed that we asked him back twice more. He is incredibly efficient, trustworthy, and clearly very knowledgeable, so we knew we didn’t need to look anywhere else. Every job was completed to the highest standard, on time, and within the agreed (very reasonable) budget. Joe took the time to explain everything clearly, talking through the options so we could make informed decisions, and he made even the more complicated jobs feel straightforward and achievable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joe. He’s friendly, calm, and excellent at what he does. If you’re looking for a plumber, look no further.
