Droylsden Glass

If I could I wouldn't give a star at all. As you can see from the photos the door colour is nothing like the quote Don't use this company, they are true to their word!! Watch what you sign, the small print has got me!! Having recently purchased a door from Droylsden Glass, the colour of the door is not what I expected it to be. It is not a true reflection of what I was sold. The salesman came round to my house with his laptop, and we went through the several doors of what were available. We had the most amazing porch built by Droylsden glass and could not have been happier, another company did the flooring and broke the internal trim, they denied any responsibility, we contacted Droylsden glass to see if they could repair the damage, they not only fixed the damaged trim but did it right away as good as new. Our thanks to Becky and Harry and all the team, they really know what customer care/after sales service means. We cannot thank them enough and would be happy to recommend them to everyone.

Droylsden glass sent a text message on the actual day of fitting to cancel our window fitting. They allege that they tried to call both our mobiles but we had no missed calls and no voicemails and I have proof of this. Their cancellation left us out of pocket, after my husband took the day off work and our roofer was on site ready to do the lead once the windows were in. Droylsden glass have sent numerous awful emails saying that we owe hundreds of pounds for the glass panels and will not return our full deposit even though they were the ones that cancelled. Such a vile and unethical company.

Told me AFTER installtion the door had paint chips in it which look awful, the frame was also bowed and needs ripping out according to thier subsequent engineers report. It now has to be pushed very hard to open and close. The company refused my Right to Reject the door, refused to replace the door, refused to fix it at a discounted rate for the inconvenience and the fact that it falls short of expectations under the CRA. They only offered 'remedial' work but with no clear explanation. They don't really seem to care about consumer duty. AVOID

From start to finish I have nothing but praise for Droylsden Glass. From our first visit to the showroom to find the door we wanted, Nicola coming to our home to finalise the details and do enough measurements. Then actual measurements and last but not least Paul who did the fitting of the door (he was very professional, very tidy and did an excellent job).

First class service from start to finish. Daniel at Droylsden Glass came out to measure up and gives us a quote (which was the best quote of all other competitors), Daniel was very professional and polite, listening carefully to our needs. The two guys who fitted the doors and window, were very friendly and polite. They totally respected our property and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Recently used Droylsden glass for replacement windows (full house) and received excellent customer service from first contact to completion. All staff were helpful and professional, from the salesperson through to the surveyor and fitters. The windows are very high quality and the installation was quick and efficient with minimal mess and disruption. I would highly recommend.

From start to finish I cannot compliment Droylsden Glass too much. Sales, installation and customer services are all so helpful and caring Sales Rep, Paul, fitters, Dave, Jimmy and Paul, admin, Karen and Julie and all in between.....thank you for your excellent service and help and patience; I was dreading the upheaval but you kept it to a minimum and have been so careful to ensure everywhere was clean and tidy. I would recommend Droylsden Glass to anyone and everyone. 100%

Excellent installation today from Brian and Jenna. Arrived early and were very neat and polite. Took them about 5 hours to install two upstairs windows. Very happy with end results

The sales pitch was good. Nothing since then has been. The installation was 4 months later than promised. The workmanship, especially of the stonework, was substandard. The room is not water tight. Numerous attempts to rectify the issues have been unsuccessful. Customer service has been awful with many challenges made to my complaints. I now have a damp extension which is growing black mould on my otherwise damp proof home. Company now refusing to respond.

My daughter is very ill and we needed new windows fitting. I have used Droylsden glass for more than 25 yr and never had a problem. As expected everything went as discussed. Every contact was pleasant from the first phone call, surveyor and fitters. The job was on time and of a high quality finish. I would highly recommend this company.

I got Droysden glass contact details from Manchester care and repair as they share details of reputable companies. The owner of the property was elderly and has a memory impairment therefore her family wanted a company that would deliver a high quality service and product. The service we received from start to finish was of a fantastic standard the fitters were farther and daughter team and turned up on time delivered a person centred service and made are relative feel safe and respected. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

From initial contact to completion the experience was good. Salesman Keith was very informative and gave us several options on types and prices of windows and doors. We were informed it would be 6 weeks from deposit to installation. This was correct. We had a previous poor experience with a french door and a UPVC window with another contractor. The experience with the Droylsden glass fitters was first class from initial knock on the door to completion in just two days. They worked extremely hard and the quality of workmanship was great. It has been a good experience with Droylsden Glass.

I got a like-for-like replacement of my windows and the experience was really good overall. The salesperson didn't try to upsell and theirs was the cheapest quote. Job was done 7 weeks after placing the order - there was a bit of back-and-forth on the installation date (due to bad weather), but the company kept me updated and both the scaffolders and window installers turned up when they said they would. Good quality work and the installers were very quick (did it in one day rather than the two originally planned) - nice guys and they kept everything tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Droylsden glass were excellent from first communications, Nicola came out to our house to discuss our options and wasn’t at all pushy - instead just informative and extremely helpful. Fantastic, friendly service from initial enquiry to completion and beyond. Can’t praise them highly enough. Absolutely immaculate job, on both the roof line and the porch. Very friendly staff, kept me updated from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

The contractors on site were excellent, particularly the first week when they fitted the frames and roof and the electrician at the end. The contractors in the second week were pleasant, but the quality of the work wasn't at the same level as the first team and part had to be corrected the following week. The plasterer did a great job in the end and the electrician was so helpful and just wanted to ensure we got what we wanted. The problem was the office staff failed to tell us when anyone was turning up and many days sat waiting for someone who wasn't coming. Very stressful due to this

I was recommended to use Droylsden Glass by my neighbour and they didn’t disappoint. From start to finish everyone I dealt with were highly competent and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
