“I called Lawrence on a Sunday morning due to a powercut that was caused by something inside the house according to the UK Power Network. He came 5-10mins and investigated. He found the problem right away and presented the plan of work that would solve the issue. The consumer unit was changed into a modern one, he also checked the wires inside the property and changed the previous ones that were unsafe. Some works were done as well, regarding the boilers and investigating on non-working ceiling lights. Lawrence really helped us feel safe and secured by checking all the wires and labelling the new consumer unit. The price that was asked was really good for the amount of work he put it and the knowledge the was used to complete the job. Lastly, the aftercare was excellent and the workarea was tidy.”

RELIABLE LOCAL ELECTRICIAN
I have used Essential Electrics to work on my daughters flat in Chessington. he has always reacted quickly when i have needed him, always given a full explanation of what the job entailed and quoted a fair and reasonable price. This is important to me as my daughter lives on her own and i know i can rely on him to deal with the job quickly. The last job was she had no hot water , he turned up the next day and fitted a new thermostat. i recommend his services.

Reliable, trustworthy and personable electrician
Laurence and his team were excellent. They completed the work (a complete rewire along with data install) on time and on budget and were a joy to have in the house. In particular, Laurence made a series of suggestions about how to configure the electrics which were very clever and really demonstrate his experience and how much he cares about his customers. I would definitely recommend Laurence for any electrical work. I have had him back recently to complete some additional works and he was punctual and reliable as always. He is my go to person for electrical work.

Great work and great to deal with
Laurence carried out both brand new rewiring and remedial work on our house when it was extensively remodelled including fitting an additional fuse board, tracing and rectifying wiring faults from a previous homeowner and installing custom LED lighting to the lounge ceiling. Very pleased with the end result. Laurence was very knowledgeable and friendly and I’d be pleased to recommend him.

Laurence has been my "go to" electrician for a few years now and has undertaken a range of work for me in 2 properties including installing or replacing spot lights in the kitchen and bathroom, larger pendent lights in the hall, under cabinet lights. I keep going back to Laurence because he's responsive to my requests, offers sound advice on options and reasonable and fair quotes including for smaller jobs. He's also a lovely guy to have in the house, polite and punctual, working efficiently and completing work to a high standard including tidying up afterwards. As part of a building project to remodel our kitchen and dining area, Laurence rewired the space, factoring in lighting, electrical power sockets and connections for new appliances, fitting smoke and heat detectors, upgrading our fuse board and carrying out a survey of electrics elsewhere in the house. The work was completed professionally, with consultation and decision making from us at every stage, and the fitting phased to co-ordinate with the building works and kitchen installation. We had complete trust in Laurence's work and he worked hard to complete the job as safely and quickly as possible. With constant communication between us, we ensured that we covered all lighting and power needs, as well as some future proofing, and no regrets that we'd missed anything on completion. It was great to have Laurence here and he was always willing to answer questions, explain his work and suggest solutions when needed. Also, he is very easy to get on with and there was never a dull moment when he was around.

External lamp lighting fitted and wired around outside of house, two spotlights and sensors replaced and motion activated overhead porch light fitted. Laurence carried out the work very professional standard and kept active communication explaining what he was doing and seeking our input on decisions. He worked out the best solution to fit the wiring to stretch around the house. The inside work was very neat and we are very pleased with the final outcome. This was our second time working with Laurence and we would highly recommend him.

I contacted Loz through the retirement property where I needed the work done on my flat as he does a lot of work for them. He talked me through my options of repairing or replacing the 30 year old economy 7 radiators , we then settled on a date convenient for us both for installation. He kept in contact (when we purchased the new radiators, delivery date and installation date) He was very thorough and would thoroughly recommend.
Laurence was excellent - efficient, helpful, speedy and honest. He is good natured and friendly. Although the jobs were small, Laurence didn’t seem to mind. He gave me some great advice as well. Definitely recommend. If I have any more electrical works, I will call Laurence, without hesitation.
We had a persistent problem with our garden lights which kept on tripping. Laurence was able to fix the issue in a couple of hours. He is extremely knowledgable , friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend him for any household electrical issues
