Full rewire of house

Went above and beyond especially as it was a difficult job. Ian and Lewis were polite and friendly, left the house clean at the end of every day. There were quite a few challenges and were willing to changes things to suit our needs and the house. Communication from Ian during the whole work was very clear and kept me in the loop through everything. Special thank you Ian for saving the old light at the front of the house especially as he had a hard time finding all of the parts to get it working. Can't recommend them enough.

Professional friendly service

Work consisted of updating the electrical systems throughout my bungalow. Work was completed satisfactorily. This company listened to my requirements and did all that I asked, and more. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Garage and garden electrics

I needed someone to replace a small fuse box in our garage and run electrical supply through to a new shed and summerhouse. Ian promptly responded to my original enquiry and came around to talk and plan out the job. I received a quote that weekend and booked Ian up in a spare spot he had at the end of the week after. Ian and his worker Lewis arrived promptly on the Thursday morning and started work immediately. Lewis done the bulk of the work with Ian regularly checking and advising. They done a great job on the fusebox and installing lights and sockets in the shed and sockets in the summerhouse. Ian also conducted all the testing required and when I asked him if he could come back another time to do another small job for me he done it in 19 minutes there and then. Very today and conscientious workers who I thoroughly recommend. Thanks guys!!

ETE Electrical Contractors

When the extension work to my bungalow was carried out in 2020, the builder used Ian, from ETE Electricals, to carry out the wiring etc for the new extension and other work on my bungalow. So, when I, retrospectively, wanted a new wall-mounted, electric radiator fitted, Ian was the obvious person to use. Unfortunately, what seemed to be a fairly straight forward job, turned out to be a bit of a marathon. The first unit that the supplier sent didn't have the correct screws and nuts etc, so Ian had to think how to get round the problem and then came back to fit this very heavy unit on the wall, so it wouldn't come off! It transpired that the supplier had sent me a faulty unit, so they agreed to send a replacement unit. Ian came back a third time to fit the replacement unit successfully at the beginning of January 2024. No grumbling from Ian about this. I am very pleased with my wall mounted electric radiator.

Replace shower fan and 2 outside lights

I have used ETE Electrical Contractors many times before and have always been more than satisfied with their service. Ian Lewis is a nice guy who is always punctual, helpful and does not over-charge. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent and very professional

Downstairs rewire, hob and shower rewire. The quote given was accurate when the final invoice was received. We are very pleased with the work Ian and his team completed. They were always punctual, very tidy and clean. All the work was completed thoroughly and professionally. We would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again.

Simply the best

Ian is courteous, clear and to the point. Not only that but he is very knowledgeable and knows what needs to be done to comply with current legislation. Further more he does what he says he is going to do, promptly, carefully and on budget. I wish I could find contractors in other fields as good as he is. Simply the best.

New Extractor fan footed in ensuite

Ian was recommended by my plumber and he did a fantastic job with regards to changing my extractor fan to a higher quality. He was very responsive to my questions and gave detailed and in depth suggestions with regards to what needs doing to rectify the condensation problem, I was having in my en-suite bathroom… which was causing mould growth. He is very well priced too and affordable. Thanks Ian!!!!

EV Charger install plus replacement consumer unit

I have used ETE Electrical Contractors before so I knew they had a high standard of work. On this occasion, they went above and beyond to ensure the installation of an EV Charger and a new consumer unit as tidy, quick and efficient as possible. There was an issue with the charger which they sorted with the manufacturer and quickly replaced a faulty component to ensure all was working properly. On completion, the house was fully tested and I now have all the certifications to show an electrically safe property which is great peace of mind. I have no hesitation in recommending ETE for any domestic and industrial electrical work.

Very good at explaining

ETE did a landlord's 5-year check on an old and complicated cottage, identified several things that urgently needed putting right then carried out the necessary work. As previously, when doing the landlord's check 5 years ago and doing a complete rewire of another old cottage, Ian and his team were professional, considerate, friendly and very good at explaining in laymen's words what they were doing and why. I would definitely recommend them.

Electrical rewire

Ian and his team were very quick to respond to a request for a quote to complete a rewire if an old cottage I had recently purchased. After coming over end completing a survey of the property an estimate was quickly provided. Once the work was started the team provided updates on the work in progress and any issues that came up were quickly reviewed and a plan to resolve agreed. All of the team are polite and easy going and a pleasure to do business with. I will be using the services of ETE for all future electrical work

Move consumer unit

Ian Lewis from ETE arrived on time with a co-worker to carry out work required which was to remove the consumer unit from under the stairs and to site a new consumer unit in the garage, he did this but while doing his final test he found there to be a problem with the incoming main supply, he contacted UK Power Networks who came out the same day to sort the problem, so I thank Ian for sorting that out which could have turned into a serious problem. He presented his invoice which was for the price quoted, more than satisfied with his professionalism and his excellent standard of work.
