I initially got Ted to help with removing a door so I could get furniture through, and then had him build a bespoke alcove cabinet, install a new handrail for my staircase, and help with a few other jobs around the house. He was great with communication, reliable, and quoted a fair price for all the work. Everything was completed in good time and finished to an excellent standard. He and his team were friendly and took great care with both their work and my home. I’d definitely recommend him and would happily use him again.

Fantastic builder and carpenter with a fine eye for detail. We have already booked EWD Construction for our future projects as we have now found our go to builder. Very skilled, efficient and tidy - the battery operated vacuum is amazing. EWD Construction was also extremely patient and friendly towards our very curious toddlers who really enjoyed watching the build happen in front of them! Attention to detail, politeness, and amazing communication via Checkatrade makes this a very easy recommendation.
Excellent communication and very professional work. Very friendly, couldn’t have asked for a better job, very happy with the outcome and even overcome some minor issues with ease. Will definitely be using again for future jobs.
