James and his team have been our to go electricians for over 3 years now and we have nothing but words of praise for their professionalism, pricing and over all efficiency. On the last job we had a new consumer unit fitted. It was a very easy and quick process to book the job, get the quote and then book the date and time slot. James is always really quick in replying. Harry who works with James, came to fit the unit, he was efficient and resourceful as he had to work some things out in order for the unit to fit in the previous wall gap. James then came to do the relevant checks as it was quite a complex job. He advised us on a few things we needed to sort out at our end and it all went great. Work place was left clean and tidy. I never hesitate to recommend Farthing Electrical to anyone who needs a top electrician.

Farthing Electrical were working at a neighbours house. There was information on the van regarding services, when the electrican came out to the van whilst I was gardening I asked about replacement showers. The shower in my ensuite had broken a few years ago & water pressure was low in the bathroom shower. Later in the day the electrician called around to prepare a quote for replacing the two showers , he did explain water pressure would be low if washing machine or dishwasher were on at a time when having a shower. An emailed quote was sent later that evening. After consideration I decided to just go with the ensuite shower and a revised quote was promptly sent. I agreed the second quote and installment was arranged a few days later. The work was carried out promptly and the area left tidy. I was shown how to use controls etc. After a couple days when I was satisfied i paid invoice and gave a review. I am very happy with the whole process and would not hesitate to recommend Farthing Electrical for their timely efficient service.

James from Farthing completed two different jobs for us, and was both efficient and highly reasonable price wise on both jobs. He replaced a fan in the bathroom, which had become very noisy, with the minimum of fuss. He was quick and there was minimum disruption. The second job involved replacing and outside PIR light, and this proved to be more problematic, due to a failure of the wiring with the exterior brickwork. James spent a good amount of time finding the fault, by isolating the deficient wiring through a process of isolating the various different segment, and finally discovering the problem. He returned 2 days later to redo the wiring externally, and fit a new light. Once again, there was no mess, and the new wiring is very discreet and not noticeable at all This is excellent work by the highly professional gentlemen, and I am very grateful to him for resolving our issues with the minimum of fuss.

Needed the kitchen work top lighting to be fixed. James found the best solution for the lights to be fixed and did the job quickly and effectively. We have previously done other jobs from him also eg, fixing lights in living room, lights around the house and sensor lights. James has always been helpful and always provides any advice should any questions arise. The team always provides great customer service whenever need to call the office and an appointment is always easily arranged to speak with James via video call before the job is carried out. We will always be going back to Farthing Electrical for any electrician work as we Trust James and his work is always of quality and the team is always there to support too and arrange an appointment. Whenever there has been an issue with anything eg fault with sensor light, James has always kindly fixed the issue. He always listens to you and provides the best solution when work is carried out. Having moved into the property 2 months ago an EICR was carried out and necessary work undertaken based on the findings. Various internal lights and external security lights have been replaced. A new patio has been laid so new external cabling, lighting and sockets have been installed in the garden.

We have used Farthing Electrical many times over, for jobs big and small. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they are more than capable of the really big stuff too. We've had them re-wire whole sections of our house, as well as the more mundane day to day stuff. Genuinely can't recommend Farthing enough, I always pass their number on to friends who need a reliable electrician.
