I used Essex Conservatories for a 7m x 4m (Internal) Orangery Style Extension to my property. The project began in January 2016 as scheduled and finished in June 2016 as scheduled. The trades were all efficient and polite and tidied up as they went. My lasting impression from that time was one of the quality of the work that was undertaken. It was superb. Digging foundations and removing spoil is never a pretty job, however Essex Conservatories made good with temporary gates to ensure that my Boundary was kept secure. They also covered existing pathways and driveway to limit the mess that tonnes of soil can make before prompt removal. Different options for underfloor heating were discussed and 'Wet' type heating was recommend and chosen and I am glad I did. I would recommend this type of heating as the output is uniform and walking on a warm floor is so much better than having a room cluttered up with radiators. I was tempted to deduct 1 star for value as the bill I paid was slightly more than what I was quoted for but then I remembered that was down to me changing the scope and materials a little bit along the way. I moved out of my home last June 2018 and the major reason I was able to sell my house was the new owners were so impressed with the Orangery. Lastly, Essex Conservatories also re-landscaped my garden after the Orangery was completed. I will definitely use Essex Conservatories again at my new home and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Essex Conservatories has a great guy who comes to your house, and views the property, and goes through all the options available, and leaves you confident you have made a good decision. It was also very easy to communicate with Essex Conservatories throughout the building work, that went to plan, apart from an issue that was entirely caused by the house builder. We have a conservatory that is exactly what we wanted, and has one side, which is a complete wall, and another that is two thirds wall with a glass panel, and glass door at the end. The front is simply two pairs of glass doors, that fold and open completely. There is a soffit that runs around three walls with spotlights all around. The roof is glass with a very fashionable frame that we chose from a selection. I specify the detail, because we have exactly what we wanted, which is a sizeable extra room for our house, which is beautifully decorated, and a lovely conservatory for the summer, where we have a large seating area in front with a barbecue and gas heater. We could not be happier with the addition to our home.

We had a good experience with Essex conservatories from our first visit with Keith who sorted out the planning permission to the finish where Martin was on hand to make sure the build was completed to our specifications. The team worked hard and completed within the time frame. We would recommend and use our conservatory every day all year round.

We obtained more than one quote for the building of our Sun room/Conservatory and found the discussions and proposals put forward by the project designer far superior to others. He was always polite and courteous and answered all our queries to our fullest expectations. We were subsequently visited by the project manager and agreed a commencement date which started on time. The project included having to move drains and sewage and was very efficiently carried out with very minimal disruption. At all key stages of the build key members of the team for each stage made an on site visit to fully understand the details of their part of the project and to ensure our requirements were met in full. Each team worked seamlessly together. At all times the members of the various teams were polite and courteous and always left the site as clean and tidy as possible. Once all building work was completed they returned and did a thorough clean. The result is a beautiful Sun room/Conservatory that we are absolutely delighted with. We would highly recommend Essex Conservatories to anyone considering a quality build.

As soon as the company representative (Mr Holder) stepped through our front door to find out what "product" we were looking for we were filled with confidence due to his honesty, passion and ideas to better our thoughts. The design prospectus (we had agreed on) was very professional and informative along with the time scale for the build and cost. Throughout the project Essex Conservatory were very helpful, communication was great and the finished product both looked great and has added a good space to our family home.
