Great service for double glazing repair
We had Joe from Gavin and Wright Glazing out to our home to replace 2 misted units in our French doors and carry out some other repairs adjusting doors replacing a broken handle and blocked drainage on a double glazed unit. Before the work was undertaken they talked through options and provided a clearly priced quote. The repairs were carried out to a high standard and Joe additionally gave us knowledgeable advice on how to best maintain our double glazing in the years to come which was really appreciated. A great service from a local business.

Absolutely Delighted!
Got Gavin & Wright to supply and fit new front door and side panel of glass to match. We are absolutely delighted with it and would certainly recommend without any hesitation. Fitters were quick, respectful of property and nice guys. Tidied up after door fitted.

Very pleased with my new composite front door and double glazed back door. Price was competitive and doors are of a good quality. The installation was carried out on the agreed date and the fitters were very efficient and tidied up when job was complete. Chose this company as they are local and had been in the area a long time.

Replacement door and windows
I was very happy with the service I received from Gavin & Wright. There was no pressure to buy and I was happy with the price quoted.I was kept informed throughout and the work was completed on time to a high standard. The fitters were friendly and tidied up well on completion. My house is much warmer and quieter now so a real bonus. I have used this firm before because they came highly recommended by several friends who had used them over a long period of time.

Good quality work completed on time
I have used Gavin and Wright on 3 separate occasions now, twice for new double glazing and most recently for new UPVC storm doors. The work is always carried out to the highest standard using quality materials. The fitters are polite and efficient and always turn up on time, something which doesn't always happen with other tradesmen in my experience.

Professional and friendly
Excellent service start to finish. Joe, the owner assessed the job quickly with no issues. Quoted a fair price, kept good contact, and the guys installed a couple of months later. Fitters were friendly and professional. Completed the job to an excellent standard and left my property as clean and tidy as possible after.

Wonderful experience from first contact through to final installation - excellent craftsmanship and great company to deal with - 10/10
Wonderful company to deal with from first contact through to final installation - everything was clear and concise. We had 13 windows replaced with double glazed sliding sash eco-slide units - a mix of twenty year old PVC double glazed units and original 1920’s traditional single glazed sash windows with their cases removed. Two bays containing 8 windows and a mix of 5 bathroom and bedroom windows. Very clean and efficient fitting service with great care and attention to detail when finishing off the windows internally and externally. The whole job took only 3 days and the finish is excellent. Both Eddie and Willie who completed the installation are very knowledgeable of the process and they were a pleasure to have in the house. Thanks for doing such a great job for us.

Once I contacted Joe a quick visit to measure and estimate was arranged and price was on point with what I was expecting to pay. Transformation
Gavin & Wright recently fitted new patio doors for us. They were very professional when discussing the various options, offering advice on finish, style and whether opening in or out was the best option for us. The price was very competitive. Great experience of window installation

We called Gavin & Wright windows after seeing a sign in their window stating they did lock repairs. Despite our front door being over 20 years old and the door mechanisms no longer in production. Joe persevered and managed to trace down compatible parts. He managed to replace the lock mechanism the handles and the broken letterbox making our old door look like new. Trustworthy too, I accidentally overpaid by £20 and he called as soon as he realised and returned the money the next day. Would highly recommend.

Joe came out to give us a quote for 8 new windows and gave us good advice on the windows and surrounds. Competitive price and no pressure to buy . Joe provided a really detailed fair quote with recommendations from his own expertise. Being a local business they were able to recommend based on multiple neighbours jobs. End-to-end very happy with the process and final result. Helpful advice up front in terms of my budget / what I needed and was left to make my own decision under no pressure. Business is owner-operated and has been for a (long) number of years and has insurance-backed warranties, which gave me confidence to buy. The two fitters, Eddie and William, have been with the company for a good number of years and were brilliant. Very accommodating and got on with the job. Neighbours even commented on them positively. Left the flat in good condition after and made a particularly good job of the bathroom window which was set in and fully tiled - no damage at all. Was recommended by a neighbour and several other flats in the block have also had windows through the guys. Price was pretty reasonable for the scale of the job and beat several other quotes. Would strongly recommend.

New Sash Windows and Door
We had previously used Gavin & Wright to replace the existing back windows and the back door. We invited Joe Wright to quote for replacement front windows and front door. For the door Joe Wright took into account the style of the existing door (original to the house) and the wooden panel surroundings of the hall. We were delighted with the option he showed us. The gentleman who installed it was excellent. We were keen to keep the original colouring of black and white windows at the front of the house and were provided with an example of these which have now been installed. Joe Wright was at all times sympathetic to our thoughts and to the local area. The installers made the minimum of mess and tidied up. We felt that the pricing for the work was reasonable. We would have no hesitation recommending Gavin and Wright.

Excellent work, very efficient
Used Gavin & Wright after recommendations from a couple of people. Joe came out when he said he would, and was great at offering help and advice on what we needed / wanted. Did not over sell, and in fact told us there were windows that didn’t need replacing in our property. Work was carried out when stated. The door was bespoke so we had not actually seen it until it was fitted. Both the windows and doors exceeded our expectations. Very impressed and would recommend / use again in the future.
