GEC surveyed and installed a solar electricity system for us and were brilliant from start to finish. The lead engineer had his own solar system and a deep understanding of the best system to install which has proved to be excellent. Quality, service, support has all been brilliant since - highly recommended. I am now planning to use them to install a car charger when we get the car.

I have worked with GEC on several occasions in the last 3 years, they have all been positive experiences and I would consider them my "go to" organisation for electrical work, large or small. I worked with them initially in Jan - Mar 2021 when they were sub-contracted to do the electrics for a new outdoor patio and garden area I was having put in. I then engaged them directly in April 23 to install solar panels, an inverter/battery unit and a car charger. I also asked them to put cabling into the house to allow for a future air source heat pump and also potentially for 3-phase power. In October 23 I then asked them install a second car charger and put electrics in for a new greenhouse I was having built. in January 2024, I asked them install a second battery unit to the original solar panel installation. They also did a software upgrade to the solar panel inverter and battery unit. I have had nothing but good experiences with the GEC electrical team, even when things were not going to plan. They were very good at handling hiccups in the various installation projects and were also honest and transparent in their dealings and constructive in coming up with ways to address the various issues that arose. They were very courteous and professional at all times. They are well connected into the wider electrical installation eco-system and have a varied set of in-house skills and expertise and are thus able to support a wide variety of project requirements. For example, they helped managed through the request to install 3-phase power and liaised with SSEN during the consultation part of the work.

GEC Electrical Contractors provide general electrical services for our rental property portfolio. They do regular remedial work as well as larger installation work. We have always been very happy with the services they provide. There are totally professional and courteous and we find their rates competitive. We would highly recommend their services.

I've had a handful of electrical jobs carried out by GEC over the last couple of years, a mix of new/alteration jobs and repairs (trouble-shooting and fixing). On every occasion I've been 100% satisified, even impressed, with their staff's competence and courtesy as well as their prompt service and fair pricing.

GEC Electrical Contractors have done work for me over a period of 20 years. This included the complete electrical installation for a Barn conversion Annex. I have always found them very helpful, consistently reliable and prepared to go the extra mile to solve a problem or locate a non standard light bulb.
