Opening boarded up fireplace back up in lounge. No gas work required. Vill was knowledgeable and friendly throughout and very skilled. Opened up a boarded over fireplace for me really neatly and repaired brickwork where needed. Had the work plastered by Harrison and very pleased with the overall finish! I’ll definitely be recommending them to friends and family!

Garage Wall rebuild Good communications prior to starting the job, Punctual every day, made good progress daily and completed the job on schedule. Work was to a very high standard, they proved to be very resourceful and dealt with issues I had not expected, managing other resources when required, keeping work place clean, tidy and safe. Since initial Garage scope, they have been engaged on a more technical internal double wall removal, executed with care and confidence. I will engage them with further projects next year. Already recommended them to close family, I don't think I would look to any other builder now. Their recommendations for other trades have also proved very positive.

Retaining wall on residential site We couldn’t be happier with Villius and team. We had a complex job of a decorative brick and flint retaining wall to be built on top of an existing 5-metre-high wall, and then we threw in some extras including chimney repairs and refit for some reclaimed Victorian pots. Villius found excellent solutions to all of these challenges and his technical knowledge and skills, thoughtful design, and pride in his team’s work were all very apparent. Communication and planning were excellent throughout, and he readily responded to all of my questions. The team were always courteous and tidy, which was particularly appreciated during COVID difficult times. And we are delighted with the finished product. I thoroughly recommend his team.

Erection of Porch I've no hesitation in recommending Gold Bricklaying (Phil and Villius) for building work. They came in at a very competitive price and performed a superb job in the erection of a new porch. They were polite and courteous and worked tirelessly throughout the job to achieve an excellent result. Every requirement was met and the attention to detail was exemplary. Communication was excellent with quick responses which is so necessary when involved in a building project.

Small Brick Entrance Pillar & Removal Of Old Vilius was fantastic from start to finish. Although only a small job, treated like any big job. Quick to respond on the website, great communication, turned up to look at it when stated, went off priced up materials and kept in touch, came and did the work when agreed and to a very high standard and cleaned up, no mess. Build brick pillar If it were possible to give 11 out of 10 for every aspect of the gold bricklaying service I would do so. Vilias was efficient, polite, proactive, reasonable, punctual, flexible and extremely personable from start to finish. All pricing was very transparent, fair and keen. The team worked to an extremely high standard; I would recommend them unreservedly. The brickwork and paving was carried out quickly (despite some bad weather) and is absolutely first rate. From my conversations with Vilias I can see he also has a much broader knowledge of the building process in general and I would gladly invite him to do much larger projects (like an extension for example) without hesitation. I’m not sure if it’s possible through this forum, but I would be more than happy to give further recommendations if anyone wanted to ask me specific questions I have not covered here at any time in the future. I can’t thank you enough Vilias; you have made my father extremely happy by all the work you carried out at his property.
