It turned sour after we descoped tasks following heavy billing, invoicing almost double original estimates. From this point we only saw the builder three times in six months. A window was incorrectly sized (the sink is higher than the sill) and a fridge water supply was taken from the tank. Extension was left without drainage for six months along with unfinished brick work. Debris was left on our lawn for several weeks and water heating was disabled for a month. Three times we incurred extra cost hiring other firms to rectify work. HW&C declined to cover 50% of the bill for faulty UFH install.

HW&C are in the final stages of completing a large scale home extension and remodel project. I would recommend them to anyone undertaking a similar project from the point of view of their team carrying out the work at each of the different stages, commitment, responsiveness, client relationship and quality of work.

A difficult job for H W and C Construction Ltd trying to get out of the ground however, Peter, Phil and the team solved all problems with good humour and expert knowledge. We can not praise them enough for their first class workmanship and skills. I can honestly say it was a joy to have them on site each day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Always polite and respectful of our home. Always keeping us informed on a daily basis of what was happening and when. I do not hesitate in recommending them as 'First Class Builders' We will be using them again. And we now have a wonderful, perfect home. Thank you H W and C Construction Ltd.
