Nigel was a pleasure to deal with. Great at communicating and very transparent so there were no surprises. Would use again😊
Second time using them for building works. First time was for a bathroom refit and this time was for a kitchen. Russell always responds to emails and texts, there's no getting messed about. Nigel who fitted my bathroom, and now my kitchen, is clean, arrives on time, listens to what you want, does little extras without quibble and works his socks off. I asked them for advice on buying certain parts and they always responded with helpful advice including being honest about any issues that might arise. I had other quotes for my kitchen refit and some were ludicrously low compared to what Handy's quoted. But if you value your time and want a decent job done without having to spend the next 6 months fixing things, then what they charge is fair. I would have no issue using them again or recommending them to anyone.

My experience has been extremely poor, and I would not recommend Handy's Property Services. The issues we had were, the worktop was chipped, they have refused to repair or replace it. They drilled through a panel twice, attempted a poor repair, then refused to rectify it. Tiles have been chipped, again failed to repair it, then refused to fix it properly. Appliances have been damaged, third parties have confirmed the damage was caused by improper installation, microwave was forced into a crooked shelf, dishwasher fixed incorrectly, making it inaccessible and damaging the door. Grout came loose and tiles began moving within 10 days. The oven tower was installed incorrectly; appliances and cupboards are not flush. All cupboards are misaligned and will need to be rehung. A Jigsaw used causing rough cuts and poor joinery and lastly the extractor hood fitted with masking tape which has come off. The work was carried out with little care or skill, and issues were consistently left unresolved.
It was great to have Russell and Nigel perform a bathroom renovation. They were very responsive and understanding, and excellent at communication. When they found an issue during the process, Nigel was great at explaining what he thought the best option was, as well as providing alternative solutions. The bathroom has been completed to a high quality standard, with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend their services which were fuss-free and well-priced. Thank you Nigel and Russell!

Nigel did a great job refurbishing part of my bathroom. He work in a timely and tidy manner, checking with me how I wanted things to be done, and I'm very happy with the result. He was also extremely helpful: When B&Q failed to deliver the tiles on time, he went the extra mile, all the way to Croydon to pick them up for me, entirely for free. I highly recommend Nigel, and the whole team at Handys Property Service.
