"In 2024 we began a 42 sq m single‑storey extension with a dormer bedroom and internal alterations to help future‑proof our home for our non‑verbal autistic son. The build was complex, with floor levels set lower to respect the original house and a cut‑in dormer roof. The new space formed an open‑plan kitchen‑diner with underfloor heating and mixed finishes.
