We asked David to come up with some ideas to improve our existing wardrobes; and to design some bookshelves and cupboards for poorly utilised space on our fourth bedroom. We received the initial quotations very quickly; and the contractors were on site sooner than we had thought possible. At an early stage we were introduced to Rob, who dealt with the management of the project throughout. A number of changes to the original plans were made during this time, all of which were dealt with efficiently. We received regular updates on progress and any revisions to the original price quotation were always advised to us; so there were no unpleasant surprises at the end. By completion our requirements had been delivered in full so we are delighted with the outcome. Special mention to Fergus and Andy, who respectively undertook the carpentry and decorating work. They are, without a doubt, the most courteous, tidy and skilled contractors I have worked with. It was a pleasure to have them in the house. I would not hesitate to use House of Building again and to recommend them to other people.

HoB project managed and undertook a triple garage conversion for us from September 2014 to December 2014. They were professional and courteous at all times and the various trades were well organised and worked well together. Communication throughout the project was good and any issues that arose were resolved fairly and promptly. I have no reservations in recommending them.

We used HOB for a recent building project to change internal walls / install kitchen and bathrooms. HOB has been excellent throughout from communications, quality of work, attitude of whole team. Choosing a builder for a big project is a stressful decision. But we couldn't recommend David and his team more highly.

Bathroom complete refurbishment. Plumbers and electricians did work well but tiling was poor. Some tradesmen watching movie channel when we were not there. Poor excuses about delays but timing of different trades appalling. The kitchen refurbishment begun on March 7th to take 6 weeks still not finished as of June 7th. The first company we have ever had that I would not recommend to friends.

Hi Dave Just to say many thanks for another job well done. We also wanted to say a year on how very pleased we are with all the work that you did for us last year. It has made such a difference to us to have the extra space & it really wasn't too painful getting it! Without exception all the guys were easy to have in the house & they worked so hard to do what we wanted. House of the building were absolutely excellent when we had a new kitchen installed 2 years ago. Their part of the work was of excellent quality well coordinated and spot on time. On top of this they worked around and sorted out mistakes by a firm of kitchen fitters who were a different company and one that I wouldnt recommend. Recently a problem arose with a part of the fitter installation so I went straight to the house of building and once again they were excellent- absolutely on the ball and a pleasure to deal with.

Driveway was completed without fuss and an excellent finish. I had other contractors coming and they made sure job was given priority to make sure they finished on time despite missing a day because of heavy rain. Would recommend.

Excellent work completed by House of Building at a very high standard. These guys are great, reliable and what you need to get you through a stress-free project. The best thing I found was that if there was a problem, it was rectified immediately or asap without any fuss. Excellent communication every week and you know where you are financially each week too.
