Ian Sanders Property Maintenance and Restoration

Ian rendered the front of our house. He also painted the front which was 3 storeys as well as the courtyard walls and the ones leading up to the front door. We had a replacement wood front door which he fitted and painted. Lovely friendly man and he did an excellent job. We are very happy with his work and would highly recommend him.

We had a leaking ridge above our garage, Ian removed the faulty ridge and fitted a modern dry ridge system, he also fitted some new lead flashing and replaced some cracked tiles. Ian kept us informed, he turned up on time, he completed the work to an excellent standard, he left everything clean and tidy. Our rafters are drying out nicely, and Ian is now our "go to" man for anything that might need doing in the future.

Ian recently completed roof repairs to our property. All work was carried out to a very high standard and completed cheerfully and professionally. We were given updates re start date, ongoing progress, and any issues that became apparent as work took place, which gave added confidence in the quality of work being done. We would not hesitate to use Ian's company again in the future.

We had Ian out originally to replace an old rotten roof above our bay window, and the work was fantastic. We have then just had Ian back to do some work to our chimney breasts, one he has rendered and plastered and the other has been stripped back to brick, cleaned up and sealed it looks beautiful. Ian left both rooms very clean and put everything back where it was before he started. We would highly recomend Ian to anyone, the cost of the work we have had done was very good and less than we anticipated. And he is such a down to earth trust worthy guy, and we would without a doubt use him again!

As a forcibly retired tradesman due to health issues I employed Ian to scratch build me a new lockable garden gate. The workmanship was impeccable, Ian was friendly polite and happy to answer any questions. I have to say by the time he'd finished the job he left the back yard cleaner than when he arrived! I can highly recommend Ian's work! Thank you Ian.

Ian replaced areas of lead on my roof and above windows as well as painting the outside, cleaning the Bath stone surrounds and renovating my front door. He provided an excellent service. He was prompt and kept me informed throughout. He clearly takes a pride in his work and knows his stuff when it comes to older buildings. I am very happy to recommend him.

I was very pleased with the work Ian carried out on my roof. He gave me a detailed quotation and when some other unexpected further work was required, did not proceed without giving exact details of the cost. His charges were very competitive compared to similar work done on another part of the roof some years ago. He was punctual, reliable, honest and very friendly. Ian did excellent repair work to our leaking roof and chimney stacks. He kept me informed about when he could come and do the work, and when doing the repairs. He supplied photos once completed. I would highly recommend him.

I asked Ian to replace my fascia and soffits after seeing he had many satisfied customers on here. The quote he gave was quick and efficient and very reasonable. I was really not quick an efficient in asking him in to do the job, and he was very understanding about it! During the work, Ian kept me informed of what was being done at every stage, with lots of photos, great communication. The work uncovered a long list of undiscovered problems with the roof, including animal damage and rotten rafters. Ian was able to fix a lot of them at no extra cost, and for the items that did require more, he gave me a call and explained everything very clearly. In the end I feel like I got very good value for money and have no hesitation in recommending Ian.
