“Jon completed a bathroom refit for us. Excellent job - exactly what we asked for. Jon has completed several projects for us and we would highly recommend.”
“What should have been a straightforward (ish) 2 week kitchen refurb spiralled into a complicated structural challenge, as Jon uncovered some unexpected issues with our small Victorian terrace. As well as damp issues, a hidden rotten window with a boiler hanging from it and an unsupported chimney breast were found, before Jon could begin with the kitchen fit. Despite all the challenges, nothing seemed to throw him off course. Jon tackled all the work, including the structural stuff and brought in trades to do the gas and electric. The finished kitchen looks fantastic - light, dry and clean with loads of storage and some nice touches. Jon did all the flooring, plumbing, plastering, tiling, also building a wardrobe upstairs, carpentry and more with good humour and patience and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. There was nothing he couldn't do !”
“We cannot praise Jon enough for our excellent kitchen refit. From first contact Jon was responsive and communicated with us each step of the way. The refit included moving exterior and interior doors, new ceiling and floor. Jon was professional and has excellent work ethic. This is 2nd worktop installation that Jon has completed for us, included cutouts & ceramic sink connection, very pleased with everything from first call through to finish, with great advice & care throughout. Have already booked Jon for our next project - full bathroom renovation !
Jon was a pleasure to work with, he was responsive from first contact and continued to be reliable and communicative throughout the process. He also delivered a high standard of finish and clearly cares about quality in his work.
We couldn’t be happier with the work Jon has done on our kitchen! His craftsmanship is outstanding, every detail has been completed to perfection, and the quality really speaks for itself. Jon was a pleasure to have in our home throughout the project. He was not only professional but also incredibly easy to communicate with, always keeping us updated & taking the time to explain things clearly. His knowledge and advice were invaluable, helping us make the right decisions at every step. On top of all that, Jon was so respectful of our space, keeping everything clean and tidy as he worked. It made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable, especially as he was able to assist with other smaller additions such as window fitting, door re-siting, plumbing in toilet which saved so much hassle. We’re absolutely thrilled with the end result and would highly recommend Jon to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable, and personable builder. A big thank you to him for transforming our kitchen!

This was our second time working with Jon and this time was a full kitchen refit including carpentry, plumbing, plastering & laying LVT floor. We had to wait a few months to start, but that is testament to Jon as he is in high demand. Excellent from design through to finish, helped us come up with solutions and communicated well with us and the supplier throughout. We are very happy with our new purpose built kitchen. Jon Smith is an excellent tradesman. We have used him on several projects including the building and later upgrade of our garden cabin. His attention to detail is remarkable and is always communicative and helpful. Highly recommend.
