“We had Paul back to fit new kitchen under-cabinet LED lighting, replace ceiling downlighters and to troubleshoot and fix a serious fault with our lighting circuit. The fault in particular was rather insidious, but Paul worked incredibly diligently to track it down to a ceiling rose above a false ceiling, and remediated the problem. Paul is a great communicator, both before and during the job, making clear what he was doing and how he was trying to troubleshoot the issue. We're now back to having full lighting again! I'd absolutely recommend Paul to anyone else locally.”

Paul was respectful and polite. He was prompt and did a great job, leaving the place tidy and in good condition. Very pleased with his work and that I now have my go to electrician.

Paul is an excellent electrician. He is polite, competent and always so helpful with the work that he does for our family. No job is too big or too small for him and he treats us and our properties with the utmost respect. We wouldn't go to anyone else for help as Paul is so brilliant. I couldn't recommend Paul enough and have used him multiple times in the past. He always gets the job done to a high standard and leaves the area clean and tidy when he is finished. He is polite and friendly to deal with, often offering great advice to get the best result possible with the job at hand. I will certainly be calling him back for any future work that I need doing.
Just wanted to say thank you for your help with fitting a new plug socket for our washing machine and finding out the fault with our old washing machine, and managing to get it working! Paul was reliable throughout setting up the visit and carrying out the job. I will be passing on your number to my family and friends. Thank you again.
I hired Paul to do a partial house re-wiring. He provided valuable feedback regarding my requirements and accommodated all the changes I asked as it was an evolving project part of a wider refurb. On a personal side, Paul is quite polite and respectful, and a nice guy to be around! The finish and quality of the wiring work was great and I would definitely recommend Paul for any sort of electrical work required. I will definitely ask him back for any future works I may need!
We had a big problem with our old fuse box, with several fuses getting hot. I found JAE on TrustATrader.com with many good reviews. I can only add mine to them. Paul came straight over to make the box safe. He returned to test the circuits, remove the box, and fit a new consumer unit. He made a lovely job of it, and tidying all the wires in trunking. He came back again a couple of weeks later to do some extra rewiring, and fitting of switches. Paul is pleasant and very helpful. I would definitely recommend JAE, and wouldn't hesitate in contacting Paul for any future work needed.

Cannot recommend Paul (of JAE Electrical) highly enough. A most pleasant man who came when we (my wife and I) needed an electrician to check out a possible fault in our downstairs electrics. Got the 'phone number via TrustaTrader. We very much valued Paul's friendly and re-assuring manner, as well as his professional expertise in locating the fault in one of our switches and checking the circuits. I shall certainly contact Paul again in the future if the need arises.
I found Paul to be a very thorough. Explaining all that he was doing for me, the benefits of etc., etc. Personally, an easy guy to get on with, didn't blind me with science, advised and did the jobs that I required. Punctual, Tidy. He did all the right things as I came to understand from his explanations of what he was doing. Highly recommended.
Had Paul round again to install another ceiling fan. Punctual as before, conducted works quickly as before, great job as before! Highly recommend!
Arrived when arranged to give a quote which he provided within 24 hours, arrived on time to carry out work both inside and outside house. Work done to my satisfaction and with no hassle. Polite and friendly and smartly dressed. Priced very reasonably and would recommend and also use again.
I first employed Paul Allen (JAE Electrical) three years ago, having been badly let down by another contractor, and was very impressed. So, when I needed half-a-dozen jobs done recently I had no hesitation in contacting him again. His quote was reasonable and competitive - he completed the work efficiently and to my full satisfaction. Paul runs a customer-focused business - his personal style is punctual, courteous and helpful. I will have no hesitation in employing him again. Verdict - highly recommended.
