“We cannot fault the work carried out. We had a full rear extension and a side first floor extension. They were excellent throughout. James and his team were always on hand to help out and talk us through every aspect of the build. Without such a committed and dedicated builder we wouldn’t have the house of our dreams. The quality of work was so good. We felt comfortable in our own home even in the upheaval of a house renovation we were not forgotten about. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, top quality building team then James, Luke and his team are your guys!”

Highly recommend Jim and his team. We had a positive experience from start to finish and are very pleased with the final build. One of the key factors for us was communication and Jim was excellent at this. He kept us updated everyday, explained things and got back to our questions straight away. We have young children and Jim was very mindful of this. They started and finished on time (early actually) and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jim and his team to others. We will certainly use Jim again in the future.

Jimmy pays a lot of attention to detail and does the works properly first time round. We have had no issues with him on a large and complex job on a house which is over £1M in a prime location and detail is extremely key. Prices are very fair, work is always tidy and clean everyday and they go above and beyond the work they are required to do. Personally I will not use anyone other than Jimmy and have used a number of people before who just don't do such a good job with no headaches and explain everything properly. I have nothing but good words.

James is not only a builder. He is extremely talented and project managed our whole renovation. James and his team exceeded our expectations. The quality of his work has been faultless. Mainly as James is extremely hard working and pays exceptional attention to detail. Enthusiastic about all the work he undertakes, he offers ideas and suggestions and is very patient with his clients when changing their minds/making decisions. James was a calming, professional Voice during the 7+ weeks he was at our home. Respectful, great timekeeping and communication. Would trust him With any future work.,

This is the second job Jimmy has done us. He is a fantastic builder. Our job was difficult and complex requiring six different trades, including specialist chemical damp proofing. He project managed the work with precision and care. His remarkable talent is communication. We always knew what he was doing and when he was coming, AND he always came when he said he would! The work completed was of a very high standard. I can thoroughly recommend Jimmy.

The removal of our living/dining room wall and installation of RSJ + plastering has been completed to the highest standards. James was always available to discuss work, ideas and to get work done. I can honestly say that James Building and Construction is the best building company I’ve ever had experience working with. From start to finish, they were professional, timely, courteous and their workmanship was next to none. The quote provided was accurate and Jim gave some fantastic advice and ideas along the way. The work was complex given the varying ceiling heights/calculations but the work looks seamless and Jim took it in his stride. Worth every penny and would use him again in a heartbeat!

I have used various builders for extensions etc. Over the past 25 years and I must say that James Building is the best Company I have used. He just gets on with the job and completes it in a very professional way. Unlike all the other builders I have used, he never once ask for monies until the job was completed. I would definitely highly recommend him for any building works.
James's building and construction company were very professional, punctual and reliable. The standard of work is amazing and I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my converted office.
