“James Roofing did three jobs for us in 2025: * roof re-felted and tiles cleaned * close-board fencing along side of house * pavers removed on section of drive where they had lifted because of tree roots, roots cut and pavers re-laid. Dave and his team were friendly and efficient. We were not bothered by any loud music, smoking or bad language and should be very pleased to have them do jobs for us again. Highly recommended.”

They cleared three decades of moss from the roof, there was a surprising amount, and repointed the gulley area, also bedded back a loose ridge tile that was spotted while doing the job. Although commercially ours was a small job Dave's team completed it professionally.

The team were recommended by a neighbour of ours who had the same age roof as us. It became pretty obvious that our roof needed doing too (along with our carport that was leaking). A necessary job of course, but a financial shock to the system too! A detailed quote was laid out which was very helpful. In hindsight however, a payment schedule should have been agreed from the start for such a large sum of money, not just assumed we would know how it worked. Saying that, it was good value, there weren't hidden costs and it was a plus that 75% of the roof tiles were able to be reused. The pair were very friendly, helpful and answered all questions. The scaffolding company they used were great too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this roofing company, they did a great job.
