Solar installation including 8 panels, inverter and battery. Experience was very positive - from the initial survey it was clear that high attention to detail was being paid. They were very good at taking us through our options and weren't upselling us on more expensive options. We found the prices to be very competitive. When it came to the work, they were on time, efficient and great to deal with. The internal works were thoroughly discussed, as part of the job entails creating a route for the new cables to run. Work itself inside the house was very tidy with minimal mess.

Solar system fitted. Successfully resolved some major issues I had with the previous fitter who walked out on the job and left me in a very difficult situation. Very professional and hardworking. Huge contrast to what I been left with previously. Pity I didn't come to JD Allen first. Highly recommended.

I engaged JD Allen on behalf of a community group looking to get some solar panels installed at a facility used by local volunteers. They were enthusiastic, despite the project throwing up some complexities, which I think speaks to both their community orientation and their professionalism. All of JD Allen's staff were responsive, courteous and helpful from the first site visit to the final invoice and the job got done to a very high standard and we have since engaged them for further work on our site!

JD Allen Engineering installed a complete Solar PV system including solar panels on the roof, inverter and battery in the attic. It included an Emergency Power Supply. I asked lots of questions about the design and the various installation options and Derek and his team responded timely and patiently. The installation then went as planned, they commissioned the system and explained all the newly installed devices. They also registered the new system with the various agencies. I've had the system now for 2 months and I'm very happy with it.
