"It was my intention to build a utility room in the unused space within my living room. Soundproofing was of paramount importance and it had to blend in with the property's modern aesthetic. Rhys achieved this complex build by constructing wooden frame, covered with double soundproofing plasterboard, filled with sound insulating board and sealed with acoustic panels to hide the opening as well as seal the room.
