Plastering one ceiling Justin, a,very pleasant chap, gave a very competitive, fair quote - he arrived on time, worked efficiently and finished the job on time. The huge hole in my ceiling, which had been caused by an overflow in the room above, has now been repaired as though no damage was ever there.

Replastering kitchen ceiling Justin did a great job of replastering a section of my kitchen ceiling. This was not a straightforward task as there had been substantial water damage, but the ceiling now looks fine. If I need any further plastering jobs done, I will be using Justin again.

Hallway stairs landing

Damp damage - Needs re plastering Justin left the place clean and tidy on completion, but didn’t necessary do everything I was quoted for. Justin orginally said that he would be replacing rusty steel beads and any damaged plasterboard (From damp). But this wasn’t done, instead a new bead was placed over the rusty galvanised one, and no boards replaced. I have spoken with a few plasterers since and they say the rust will just bleed through and that the bead should have been removed.

The plaster is smooth, although rough in places and needed a light sanding before painting. Also a few trowel marks in places which needed filling. Answer from tradesperson: Im sorry to read that your not completely happy with the job On completion on any job I have always said to all my 145 customers on my builder if you are not completely happy get in touch and I will always rectify any faults Reply edited 3 Jun 2024
