“I contacted a couple of roofing companies to look at damp coming into our basement. Callum, from Johnstone Roofing, was very different to the others! He undertook a thorough inspection of both the inside of the house and actually went onto the roof (the others just looked up from the street!) to investigate. Callum then provided us with a comprehensive obligation free report, itemised quote and timetable for the work. The scaffolders worked quickly and seamlessly with Callum’s excellent team, who then provided photos & videos both before and after the work. Again, clear invoices were provided and we were very satisfied with every aspect of the job. This company is a breath of fresh air! Highly recommended.”

Callum came to quote for a number of roofing and repointing jobs. He replaced the ends of ridges and fitted battons to stop rain exiting the gutters at the back underneath the roof tiles. He is a cheery lad, who worked with his dad before starting on his own. He turned up on time and ran through a number of options, providing quotes by email quickly after. The work was done when he said it would be and he tidied up well. It looks good and I’m happy with his work. I’d recommend.

Flat garage roof . Delighted with every stage of the job! Helpful, knowledgeable advice given on how the work would be done before and during the installation. Punctual, hard working with meticulous attention to detail using excellent quality modern materials. All carried out at a reasonable price. Will be using them again and would certainly recommend them!
We were so lucky to find Callum after we had a leak from a bad roof job on a new extension from a previous builder. Callum was exceptional from our first meeting. He explained clearly and simply what the problems were - took photos to illustrate and help us understand and then provided a very reasonable quote and moved things around to fit us in as a matter of urgency. He re-tiled the roof, repaired the chimney and improved the guttering. Callum was an outstanding professional - timely in all his communication, tidy in work and extremely skilled in repairing our roof. We cannot recommend him highly enough - if you need someone reliable, professional and with a delightful personality at a reasonable cost he is your man. Thank you so much for helping us!

Callum was extremely polite & very easy to deal with. Quoted me a realistic price and agreed a repair time. Kept me informed of his arrival time and completed the job very efficiently. I highly recommend this company without hesitation.
Very happy with my loft insulation project.
I recommend this young man without reservation. He is polite knowledgeable and efficient. Callum and his colleague attended my property at short notice this due to a funeral that I had to attend. Callum worked around this need and carried out chimney work to my satisfaction.I was pleased with his work and his customer/ client contact. He is trustworthy and I would not hesitate him working on property owned by older or more vulnerable people. That is a review I am only too pleased to leave

Callum responded within an hour of posting, and the work was completed by the end of the week. Most impressive was his honesty - he didn't over-inflate the work that was needed (easy to do on a roof the customer can't see!) and was excellent value. Took photos to show what was needed, the work in progress and the final job. Callum is personable, professional and efficient. Highly recommended!
Excellent communication and very punctual. Although only a small repair for some replacement tiles workmanship excellent and I am very happy with the work done. Would definitely use Callum again for any roof issues.
Professional from start to finish and a nice guy
Callum and his team were very efficient and thorough. A quote was provided after initial visit and a date agreed. A few days before due to start Callum got in contact to confirm date was still ok Work was complete above and beyond what was expected. Very polite team, very tidy workers and price was as expected. Will definitely use again and no hesitation in recommending
Callum responded quickly to my request for a variety of minor issues with my roof. His communication and demeanour gave me the impression he was someone who is trustworthy. His quoted prices seemed reasonable so we decided to go ahead. Callum's communication when working was even better, even to taking photos and video of the work as he progressed. Which, to be reasonable, is about the only way we earth bound people are going to know if anything has been done! I'm very happy with his work. We have a couple of other small items we need doing later in the year and no doubt I'll get in touch with Johnstone Roofing to do them.
I am very pleased with the chimney and roof repair work. Callum is very experienced and knowledgeable about exactly what was required. Kept in communication and updated me before, during and after the job. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
