Very good professional job
The job included - raising all house sockets to 650mm. Moving a lounge wall light to an adjacent wall. Lowering an outside security light. Changing light switches. Updating the fuse box. The price was in line with my expectation. From first contact James was very professional and personable. Work was completed on time/in budget. He arranged a plasterer to undertake repairs. I was happy with the quality of finish. The quote was clear/detailed and all ongoing communication was very professional. I did forget one small job which I mentioned to James and he happily returned a few days later at an agreed time to complete. The Minor Works Certificate was provided on completion. All in all a very good experience and I would be happy to recommend James (JTS Electrical).

Professional and friendly
I recently had 3 extractor fans fitted in my house and I’m extremely pleased with the whole experience. From the start, James was very clear and transparent in explaining the work that needed doing and why, which I really appreciated. He was also very friendly and professional, making me feel completely comfortable having him in my home. The work itself was carried out to a very high standard, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. Excellent Professional Service from start to finish
We contacted James initially following an emergency when we lost our electricity went off. He responded quickly and advised us that we needed a full assessment. We arranged this which resulted in 8 recommendations and we then set a date for the work to be carried out. This was achieved as detailed in the plan and on budget From our first and subsequent contacts with James he was always very helpful, he listened and he clearly communicated what needed to be done and carried out the work as agreed. I would highly recommend him.

Good Job Done
After failed contacts with other electricians James replied and arranged to replace old fluorescent lighting in the kitchen promptly. He arrived on time and carried out the refit efficiently. Another small job came up in our discussions, and he was able to do that in a few days.

Great job!
James came to my house to fix a faulty kitchen and bathroom ceiling light. He was friendly and efficient and kept me well informed about what the issue(s) were. Pleasant and efficient young electrician
We had an electric shower which was very difficult to turn off. James came to look at the job within in a few days in December 2025, and told us that it needed replacing. He made and kept an appointment to come on February 11, and when he quickly replaced it, and left no mess, for a fair price. We were disappointed that we had to wait so long but electricians seem to be in extremely high demand these days! We find that many workmen are retiring these days and so it is helpful to find a good young professional with a long working life ahead. We have removed one star for the waiting time.

Excellent Work & Customer Service
We had not used James before and asked him to quote for a full rewire following purchasing our first home. He was really detailed in his quote and took the time to understand what we wanted and consider how he could complete the work - we were impressed from the get go. James’ quote for the work was really reasonable and he was very amenable to changes and questions we raised. He was flexible and able to priorities our work due to our moving date. During the work he kept us updated, calling to ask what option we wanted where topics hadn’t been covered and he provided videos on the completion of each stage of the works. I know he also worked tirelessly to complete the job on schedule. The rewire has been done to a high standard and James fulfilled everything we asked of him. Can’t recommend him enough and we will be returning to him if / when we have electrical needs in the future! Thanks so much James.

Incredible service from James!
We recently had James complete a full rewire in our property and we are so happy with the end result. We had no prior experience of working with James so requested a quote from him purely based on the amazing reviews he already has. We are so glad we did! His professionalism, expertise, work ethic and trustworthiness have been nothing short of exceptional. We had to move out of our house during the rewire as it formed part of a bigger renovation we are completing, but James kept in regular contact with us providing updates as and when needed and was more than happy to answer the (lots of) questions we had along the way. He even linked in with our plumber and kitchen fitter to ensure they were aware of the new electrical set up within the house. We have nothing but praise for James and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing some electrical work carrying out. Thank you so much James, you have been amazing!!

Help and advise when needed
We called James for advise re protective device replacement i.e. change of fuse from 32amp to 40amp which a previous electrician had changed some years previously. We still had 40amp fuse. James called to see us after a very busy working day and was so helpful and attended to the job immediately. This now means we can use our electric shower to its full capacity with safety. This is the second time we have used his services and have already recommended him to a family member who has also been very satisfied with his work. We feel his prices are fair and his work first class. He is courteous, friendly and genuine in his manner and we would have no hesitaion in employing him again.

Brilliant

Great, attentive, friendly service
From start to finish James was courteous, attentive and friendly. He arrived on time, explained everything he was doing and why, and kept in touch throughout. Great Work on my house electrics
I initially hired James to install outdoor lights. The task was not straightforward, but James found a solution, and the lights look fantastic. Due to the excellent work done on my outdoor lights, I knew I wanted James back to carry out further work in my house. I engaged James to install two new plug sockets in my living room and an outdoor socket on my patio. Once again, the job was complex and required the addition of a new consumer unit. From initial consultation to the completion of the work, James provided sound advice and devised solutions to overcome the challenges. The work was done on the agreed date, and he was extremely respectful of my property and belongings. The final result is excellent, and I have confidence in James's work. Great Work
James has been to us on two occasions and the work he has done has been great. He gave us quotes to change all our light fittings, insert a new light socket and do a five year electrical check of our fuse box. His prices are good and you couldn’t ask for better service. He is a friendly and chatty person and nothing is too much for him. His work is very neat and tidy and makes sure everything is to your standard. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who was looking for an electrician and I would rate him very highly.
