About

Kantec is a West London based residential construction company specialising in home refurbishments, extensions and conversions. We are well known for our quality designs, workmanship, as well as our excellent customer service. While some of our clients come to us ready to build, with architectural drawings in place and planning permission granted, many are right at the beginning of their renovation journey with nothing more than an idea - which is why we also offer an in-house design service. Kantec’s in-house design service means that we are able to manage your entire renovation – from producing the architectural drawings and gaining your planning permission, right through to building and finishing the project. Our straightforward, transparent process applies as much to our design stage as it does to quoting, planning and building. You can find out more about how we turn your dreams into designs below. Check the TrustMark register
Never pay a large deposit up front. Agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
Be wary of a cash-only price or pressure to start tomorrow. Both are red flags for an unaccountable job.
