The team at KMC were clear and transparent throughout the process. They came out discussed what I was looking for and provided a very simple quote. They were reasonably priced compared to some quotes I had been given, and kept things simple. We spoke via phone and email and their responses were quick and clear. A date was agreed the installer turned up on time, was very tidy, cleaned up as he went and worked throughout delivering to a very high standard. Really happy with the work they did. The knackered old windows being replaced has made a great difference throughout the house. Very happy, no surprises, no issues.”

I decided to use this company to heel and toe a bifold. I specifically requested on the phone how much this would cost and all I was told “we will deal with that later”. So under an ill judged assumption I thought it would cost a going rate. The gentleman who came to look at the door spent roughly 15 minutes playing with the door. I asked him how much it will cost and he said “I don’t deal with that”. I then received an invoice for nearly £100 for 15 minutes work. I argued it only to be told there is a standing call out fee of nearly £100. Same person I spoke to originally and didn’t think important when i specifically asked the first time round. This fee is hyper inflated especially for 15 minutes work. Please consider using this company knowing how much they charge for just turning up at your address. Would not recommend.

The customer first called the office to explain he was having issues with a bifold door that was not originally supplied or installed by KMC. He thought a toe & heel may be required to repair the door. The engineer was booked to attend, assess and complete works required. We have emailed & called the customer several times to discuss his response to our invoice that was sent following the visit, he has not answered, called us back or replied to any emails. While we were on site the customer's wife mentioned how pleased she was that we were able to have the doors working, as the company that installed them couldn't do this. Our call out fee is £75 plus VAT not £100 as mentioned in the review, if you have any after sales questions then please do not hesitate to contact us, Kind regards KMC Home Improvements Ltd.
Kristian was recommended by a friend of ours who is in the building trade. He came round to the house promptly, assessed the job and discussed the options with us. We then received the relevant paperwork and agreed a date for the work to commence. The communication with the office was also very good. Kristian and Will arrived early and worked hard fitting the new bay window. Their work is extremely good and they were professional at all times. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others and would definitely use them again.
Excellent service from initial visit, contacted via telephone and email on numerous occasions to ask questions and add additional items to order. Prompt response each time. Double doors fitted on day and time planned, lovely guy installed quickly and professionally. They look amazing would 100% recommend this company.
Very impressed with KMC. The locks on our back and patio doors had both seized up and we were unable to open either. Will arrived at exactly the time specified. Was friendly and courteous and explained everything he was doing. Both issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use again.
Cannot recommend highly enough. Kristian came round this afternoon to carry out a survey of a double glazed unit I was have severe noise problems with. I was fully expecting a quote for a new window/ secondary glazing. He identified the issue and whilst it was late in the day and he had further appointments he fetched his tools from the van, removed the openable window, adjusted the frame with use of Jemmy, inserted a spacer and replaced the mastic.On the way out he fixed a rattle on the front door. Unbelievable! Will certainly be requesting your services in the future. In case you are wondering I have never met Kristian before, but I am still shell shocked by the level of service Thank you very much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easy process from start to finish. Office staff very helpful and surveyor very knowledgeable. Will (the installer) worked efficiently, very polite and kept all working areas very clean and tidy all times. Thank you KMC for a great job!
Nothing is too much trouble for these guys from the moment I was first contacted them to the moment the job was finished! Our double glazing looks great and has been beautifully installed. We do not even need to redecorate internally as they were really careful taking out the old windows and making good every step of the way. The whole team from the office to the installers are so friendly and helpful at every stage. Any snagging was completed quickly and efficiently. Help and advice was always readily available. A big thank you to Claire, Kristian, Will and LiIam - we would not hesitate in recommending you
I can’t recommend KMC Home Improvements enough. They have done work for me a couple of times now and they are always very helpful, quick to respond to queries and outstanding value for money. Very grateful for their knowledge and quality work.
I hadn't used KMC before, but phoned them on 27th Feb hoping they could assist with a broken window lock. The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful and suggested one of their guys come round to have a look. This was arranged for 1st Mar, so very quick. Christian duly turned up, right on time. Immediately I was impressed with his attitude and willingness to help. He very quickly identified the problem and by that afternoon had obtained a replacement part, which he fitted the very next day. First class service and very reasonable. I will definitely use KMC for any future window/door/lock problems and would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.
💯 recommend, such lovely people and great at what they do. I had already had others out to fix my patio doors, one made them worse, second one did nothing. Defo third time lucky. Kristen has done a wonderful job and for a great price. Claire in the office is great, so easy to book appointment and pay the bill. After nearly 5 years, I have a warm, draught free living room. I bumped into Kristian by chance when looking at composite doors in a local showroom and took his business card. I subsequently spoke with Claire to arrange for a quote, we went back and forth on the design before finalising our decision, Claire was very helpful throughout this process. Unfortunately, a few problems were encountered on the job that were down to quality control issues from the manufacturer, Claire kept us informed on when these would be resolved and true to her word these were rectified by Kristian. We were impressed with the installation and customer service, nothing was too much trouble, we would not hesitate to recommend KMC Windows (Claire & Kristian) to friends and family.

I couldn't be more thankful to KMC for their help when I locked myself out of my house and had to smash a window. Other workmen were giving me 5-7 day turnarounds but KMC came and measured on the day I called and installed the following day. Brilliantly done, cleared up the mess and even replaced a part of the window frame which was a bit rotten. All the people I spoke to were so so friendly as well. I will absolutely recommend to everyone in the area. Thank you and thank you again!
