I had some serious patches of rot in my outside hardwood staircase. I put a message on my local google group. John Cook from Knotswood interiors came highly recommended. He came out very quickly to quote for the job. He proved to be an excellent choice, his expertise was obvious. I would definitely him for any caroentry jobs, nothing was too much trouble and always arrived on time.
John moved a loft hatch for us, making a complete new one, in a less dangerous position. He put in reinforced ceiling joist, installed architrave and made the loft hatch, supplying those materials. Using the loft ladder that we had already bought.

John has undertaken a variety of jobs from block laying to bespoke Joinery. Work is always completed to a high standard.
Had John in to build a partition wall, out of 4x2 board it and then plaster it for me.
