“Luke & his team completed our porch & garage extension in spring 2025. Luke responded promptly to our initial enquiry, quickly providing a detailed quote. He spent significant time on site beforehand to clearly understand our requirements & he put forward good suggestions we had not considered. We finalised specification details, price & start/finish dates. Luke, Nick & Claudio are very skilled & hardworking. They started on the date we agreed, were polite & friendly throughout & had a great rapport with our children too. If any minor issues arose, we worked collaboratively to find a solution we were all happy with. They left the site remarkably clean & tidy every day. They finished the project ahead of time at the cost we agreed. It has transformed the look of our property & we could not be happier with the finish. We highly recommend Luke & LB Building Services. Luke and the team did an excellent job. A old patio and shrubs were removed and replaced and new fencing installed. They started and completed when they said they would, we’re helpful with minor changes as we went along, we’re friendly and left the job clean and tidy. All in all an excellent service. Highly recommended.
We used Luke and his team to landscape our garden and lay a patio after they previously built our large extension. We knew from the previous development that they were extremely reliable and the attention to detail was always exemplary. As before we were so pleased with the finish and the team were professional at all times. Our garden looks so different than it did before and we’ve had loads of positive comments from friends and family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LB builders and we will certainly use them again with any future projects.
Luke and his team started the job on time and completed the work as promised within the four months. The work at our house involved full internal renovation of almost the whole house with new insulated walls and floors and ceilings, the taking down of five walls to enlarge spaces on both floors and the building of a small extension to the bathroom. Luke was polite, tidy and consulted us at different stages of the work with suggestions as appropriate. The work was carried out safely and Building Control was very happy with their work. Any extra work needed was reasonably priced. Luke works to a high standard and I would be happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a reasonably priced builder offering a high standard of work.
Really happy with the work carried out by Luke and his hard working team. A personable and transparent builder that set out the quote in sections so we could see the breakdown of costs easily. Work started on time and progressed nicely. There were a couple of hiccups outside our control, but Luke addressed and dealt with them efficiently. We liked the regular chat to keep us informed what was happening. It was almost like your mate doing the work in terms of atmosphere and joviality, but at exceptional high professional standards. Luke also made use of other tradesmen for plumbing and electrical work and they also did a great job. Sometimes offering up control to others can lead to a drop in quality but Luke obviously has a reliable band of tradesmen to draw from. We got in contact with LB Building Services through a mutual contact who recommended him. So glad we picked up the phone and took a punt. Would definitely recommend LB if you want a job well done.
Luke was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were hoping to have the patio ready for prom night and Luke and his team did their best to make sure everything was done on time. The porcelain patio and slate tile wall both look amazing , I would definitely recommend L B Building Services to anyone. Shame I can't add some more pictures as the one photo really doesn't do it justice.

I asked LB Building Services to help me with a building repair on my house. Luke got in touch and was really helpful with advice on the repair. The quote he provided was competitive and he was always available to answer any queries I had. He turned up to do the repair when he said he would, the quality of the repair is excellent, and he was very professional throughout. An excellent job from start to finish. Thanks for making this so easy, Luke.
We can’t recommend Luke and his team highly enough! From our initial meeting right up until the completion of the build, Luke worked with us to understand our requirements, answered all our questions, and liaised with us to kept us updated. His team were brilliant - all so friendly and reliable. If they were worried about falling behind, they worked late and/or weekends to make sure we were in for Christmas. Having no building knowledge or experience ourselves, they were all very patient with us and fully explained why things could, or couldn’t, be done. They arrived when they said they would and tidied up after themselves - this was important to us as we remained living on site throughout the works. If we need any further work in the future, Luke will be our first port of call.
Luke and his team were polite, friendly, tidy, punctual and went above and beyond throughout our build. Their attention to detail has been exemplary and the finish looks excellent. We have received so many compliments about how fantastic it is and how much the house has improved. I would definitely recommended LB building services.
Luke and his team were fantastic from start to finish. They were kind, considerate, fun, polite, tidy and really good at their jobs. Communication was excellent, any time one of us was unsure about something Luke went out of his way to discuss options with immense patience, genuinely wanting to do his best for us. Our build was an extension to a grade 2 listed property so it was not straightforward but we honestly felt like part of a team the whole way through. On time and to budget. Honesly couldn't have asked for more. We miss them!!

Luke and his team were absolutely incredible. I’ve never known a builder so thorough and meticulous. Luke went through everything perfectly, nothing was too much trouble and he explained all stages in detail. He takes soo much pride in his work. They arrived punctually every day which the neighbours also mentioned and never ever left a mess. The finished product is second to non and we would never hesitate to use Luke and his team again. Super nice guy. Was an absolute pleasure to have him work here. Even my daughters ask about him still. Thanks for everything Luke 👍
From start to finish Luke and his team were fantastic. Lukes organisation and pride in his work is second to none. Before the job starts he will talk you through all the stages and work with you to ensure everything is how you want it. They are punctual and work extremely hard every day they are on site which even our neighbours commented on! I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. We had a major refurbishment carried out and Luke and the team stuck to the timescales specified and we’re absolutely thrilled with the outcome.
After calling Luke regarding a building issue and sending pictures of the problem , Luke was more than helpful and very knowledgeable in his approach to the issue at hand . No question was too much trouble for him and he was more than willing to help in any way he could . Top guy and thank you again for your assistance !! We would highly recommend !
Luke and his team were first rate. Professional, tidy, punctual and really great communication. Luke was happy to amend his plan during the build, proactively asking our opinions on the patio he built for us. Everything was top class, the guys were great and everything started and finished on time and in budget. We would have no hesitation in recommending Luke and will definitely try to get him back when we need more work in the future.
Big thanks to Luke and his lads, they did a great job for use and even recommended Brian for our kitchen planning and fitting. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a building extension done. Teresa and Joe.
